I blind bought Colonia Essenza and it’s not a mindblowing fragrance for me, Im also 16years old and that could be the reason why, I haven’t used it with people yet because I’m scared they’ll tell me I smell like a mature man

ADP Leather epd is brilliant!! I got a bottle about 3 years and instantly loved it and now I'm on my 3rd bottle, I've not sampled any of the other ones but I may try them in the future

I own all of them except the Leather and I feel exactly the way you described them! Now I curious to smell the Leather one as well. The Oud one is certainly my favorite OUD compare to the other OUD brands I own. Not too overpowering.

Thanks for picking out the unusual ones. Essenza gets a ton of love, but Oud, Leather, and Sandalo not much mention... and I think they are all at least as good if not better. Leather is ADP's take on Tuscan Leather. A bit darker where rose takes up the slack. I think I may prefer it to TL. Have to do another comparison. Oud (formerly Intensa Oud) is really good. Agree... it is unique. Have not smelled another with this profile. Gets a lot of likes here. Sandalo is a new favorite. Better than Quercia (which is good, but not quite great). Love ADP! My favorites are the original Colonia, Bergamotto di Calabria La Spugnatura, and Ginepro di Sardegna. As well as Magnolia and Iris Nobile which soar to the heavens and could be worn by the right kind of guy. Also love Fico di Amalfi and Colonia Intensa, but the projection for both is just abysmal. Especially Intensa. It's just so good, but barely detectable. Alas.

Yeah.. Fico di Amalfi is great, along with a few others from the same collection.. But projection is.. below average 😫 Thanks for sharing!! 🙌

Our would have to be the standout favourite for me, I remember it fondly as my first oud fragrance. Not a cheap line but worth every penny.

Agree! Acqua di Parma Oud is one of my favorite oud fragrances for sure. It smells high quality and very different to my other favorite oud perfumes. It has a unique DNA and I can't really think of any other oud that smells anything like it.

do you know if there’s any difference between colonia leather and the updated leather EDP? note breakdowns look exactly the same, aside from specifically atlas cedar and the concentration difference

Thanks for sharing! I tried it. Even though it was just on a paper strip. It felt a bit flat and not as interesting/bold as the their oud. Still curious though and might give it another try (on skin this time) to see how it develops. Do you think it's better than AdP oud?

What's a leather accord fragrance for the spring?

Spring and fall are both perfect for most fragrances (depending on where you live of course) since both seasons are in that sort of "perfect middle" when it's not super warm or super cold. Spring is therefore (to me) perfect for almost any kind of leather fragrance. You can check out my leather fragrance video for more suggestions, but I really like Acqua di Parma Leather, Gucci Guilty Absolute (which is BTW perfect for layering perfumes), Rasasi La Yuqawam and Tom Ford Ombre Leather (probably the leather I love the most.) There are quite a few leather perfumes to chose from, and it all comes down to personal preference. In my experience, the one most people love are Ombre Leather, La Yuqawam and AdP's Leather :)

@@naleenaar5442 This is a tough one.. A lot of people think leather and tobacco are way to heavy for summer.. I personally don't, but it all depends on how warm it actually is.. There are a lot of good leather fragrances and several nice tobacco ones, but leather and tobacco both in the same fragrance that's ALSO "fresh?" Tough one 😉 I have to think about it a bit.. Because usually leather + tobacco = NOT "fresh and light" :) Most fragrances with that note combo are usually a bit heavier and deeper. 🙃

@@rottenrebels I love leather fragrances but they go staring to to skin scent after bout 20-30 mins. Creed is too expensive. And I loathe ambroxan so Sauvage and others are out of the question. Im currently using Zara's Vibrant Leather and it's so damn good. But yet to find a fresh leather tobacco fragrance for a hot sunny day. Im in Singapore so it's summer all year round. But I usually weather leather fragrance only to the office. I've got Dior Fahrenheit but too divisive for office.

tough one.. They are both epic in their own ways.. AdP Leather is luxurious but not as smooth as Tuscan Leather.. And the scent of leather in each is so different from each other.. I would say that I love them both, but reach for Tuscan Leather more often and that one is more mass appealing than AdP. The AdP is way more attention grabbing though.. People REALLY notice you when you step into a room with that one.. So it all depends on what you prefer.. I would first go for Tuscan and then AdP if I wanted a leather that more people would enjoy on me and a leather thats a bit more versatile. And I would go with AdP if I wanted a luxurious attention grabber that's more beast mode and more of a raw leather kind of scent 😊

@@rottenrebels i like a lot lot lot the tuscan leather!the longevity on my skin is at least 15 hours.i like the harshness of raspberry .but i never have smelled the adp.but i find the 180 ml adp for a great deal.how is the longevity on adp?the sillage??thanks for your answer!i found your comment on fragrantica. :)

The longevity (adp) on my skin is great.. never heard anyone complain about it. Yeah I think you can find 100 or 180ml quite cheap nowadays on online outlets.

I’m a bit torn on mirra. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t enjoy it at all. Well made though. Definitely not a blind buy (try first) and definitely not my favorite from Acqua di Parma.

All The brand is an Eau de cologne... meaning Sadly they doesn't last

A lot of the Acqua di Parma have a medium to short kind of performance, but not all.. Oud, Leather and a few others have good performance. I think the name "Eau de Cologne Concentrée" on the "older" bottles for some fragrances are a bit misleading as the performance on some are great. But yes, there are a ton of AdP fragrances with a poor performance 😊
