ACRD_109 Evening Chanting (with subtitles)

Evening Chanting conducted by Ven Ajahn Siripunnyo.
"The Ajahn Chah Remembrance Day (ACRD) is a special day devoted to one of the great contemporary Buddhist monks in Thailand, Venerable Ajahn Chah who is also known as Ajahn Chah Subhaddo.
The two-day event on the 17th & 18th of December 2011, were held at the SJK (C) Yuk Chai (Taman Megah) school hall, attended by Venerable monks from the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Malaysia.

This is still very moving to me. Many of these monks are still teaching and practicing in June 2024. All that time they have been a blessing to me. My thanks to them and to the person who posted this.

Stella Ocean Not all Thai-Theravada believe in Kumanthong or evil ghost power. Please don't judge all of them. I know there are so many Thai monks that lost from the way of Lord Buddha but there are still true Theravada monk in Thailand. Namo Buddhaya Buddha bless U my friend.

Nice buddhism in thailand.plz monks should avoid egg,meat,alcohol and married luxury life.buddha said if you don't have any food to eat then you can eat meat. Hi, for your info, this is evening chanting. Chanted by monks in the monastery every evening. There are also Paritta Chanting kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnyoc3qEgbJ1aM0 chanted in special occasion. The Parittas consist of different Suttas.

Thank you for your comment. The Thai forest monks will only expose their shoulders when they are within the monastery. They are covered up when they leave the monastery.🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for your question. Sorry i don't have that. Maybe you can search in youtube. For your info, the 2 sutra/mantra you mentioned are only available in Mahayana Buddhism.

They do have it on KZbin but they going to fast and I can’t learn it , but these monk chant very clear and at the right pace I can learn it , but with others monks and others people either to slow or to fast and not very clear especially when you are just learning
