We bought some running gear, and now we're building a hay wagon for hauling round bales and large square bales.

That's going to be a great wagon. Your sons and your husband remind me of mine. Diesel mechanics welder metal workers my son's also blacksmith. Repairs guns. does body work on cars. Restoring a Willys. I can't think of a thing they don't do. So I know how proud of you are of them Rhonda. We have always done for salves. God bless you all.

My dad, my brothers and I built a wagon using Solid OAK back in the early 70's. A few years after we built it, some rushed driver in a hurry to get home after his sift at the local auto plants, hit the hay wagon going over 40 miles an hour while try to pass us, ripped the front of his car all to h*ll. Left a little dent on the end of one of the oak 2 x 4 cross beams. That wagon is still in use today and still going strong. It has been almost 50 years since we built that wagon, transported over 1 million bails of hay and straw on it, (240-260 bays per load). Since that wagon was built, no maintenance has been done on it.

Paint it red. Then when green hay bales ! Red Green wagon lol Get that boy auto darking lense. Saves eyes,skin getting weld burn. Plus can use with grinder.

Should put some wood blocks under the metal frame because the frame/ bed will hit the tires on rough ground/ bumps otherwise

Great video and I really hope it sells for a great price. I got to thinking about your bull troubles and I thought a possible good idea for you guys would be to find a somewhat local to you rodeo stock contractor and see if your bull has any buck in him. He has the perfect disposition for the rodeo and if he does buck then he would have a good life and you wouldn't have to watch your back all the time lol just a thought.
