I shed tears reading 2 parts of dan da dan, this acro silky story and another character i wont spoil. I shed tears watching the episode aswell and even when i showed my older brother i was emotional. He got emotional at the aira saying bye to her mommy in the coffin and he understood deeper the segment better. He was like why the fuck are you making me watch this 🥲 ugh..

People have been saying this, and I've been like, "Yeah but, Frieren is also up for Anime of the Year this year, so good luck with that!" After episode 7, this now gets my vote. I love Frieren, but there wasn't a single episode that had me thinking about it for several days like episode 7 of Dandadan has. Even hearing the music brings back the emotions. If they can keep this quality, this is going to be a powerful series to behold.

I'm much more of a manga guy. I usually read mangas and then drop the anime early on when it gets adapted because I've already read it and I lose interest. But man, the music really elevated this episode. What an amazing adaptation this is.

I hadn't read the manga before getting into the anime, so this episode was just out of nowhere in this usually silly story, and I cried pretty hard.
