I basically use the same gateway trap, but I use bow and arrows as well as raptor squad to tame a lv 180 acro

I can't trigger it to stay in the shield stance , plus it takes way more than 3 shots to get it to use the stance, and when it does, it stays there for 3 seconds and turns back to normal. I feel like this mod is broken for me and i don't really know how to fix it :\ such a shame.

Perhaps reinstall the Mod Since that never happend to me or others I've talked to.

Same for me it wont go into defense stance and i had to keep picking up creatures with the argy and killing them over the acro so the body falls beside him and he eats it to heal, but it would not go into the stance and was destroying the gates so i just killed the level 145 acro and uninstalled the mod, i find many of the creatures are buggy in that mod so not for me.

I allways end up killing some of these and getting their tribute when im just wondering around the mountain on island since i use high powered hybrids from sids hybrids and the domination rex from arkcaditions alot alongside aditional creatures 2 wild ark the spiritual sequil/ sister mod to ark aditions So many powerful creatures to just run through this mountain side and kill acros without a care i didnt even realise they were a modded creature till a while in after looking up what their tribute was used for

Does Moded narcotic work on the acro? Like the mod 'Better Narcotics' provide a narcotic that does 5 times the torpor damage

Good Video and good trap, wouldve been nice If you pointed out that the acro frees itsself from the beartrap within few seconds. I travelled all across the map to find a decent one and now i Need to fly back to the base

@@Arkraktor 1. I had like 8 seconds to put a gate behind him, which is nearly not as long as a beartrap lasts for other creatures 2. You need to assume that the people that watch this are complete noobs. Therefore informing about what could go wrong when taming something in a guide is quite helpful. Anyways, i learned it the hard way and its not that bad after all

i love your guides but i got a problem i play on single player fjordur and when i was taming a acro the i used the pump shot gun for it was a 140 i waited ages for these guys to spawn and i used your trap and it died due it taking to much damage and i was using a primitive shot gun the problem was it was going smoothly until it just looked at me and didt do anything and then i tried to shoot it and it died what do i do these bloody creatures only spawn for me at level 90 and im just mad

If the shot gun deals too I dmg to a lower lvl acro, use a sniper rifle perhaps.

@@realm_of_light even in my single player, hell even on servers this problem never happened to me. Here is whatever you do. Go into a new sp world, go into gcm, spawn another acro and try the same things i did in this video. If it works that 140 acro you tried to tame simply goofed out.

Wel I recently finnaly found. 130 acro so if it’s going to be a annoying booger again then I’m either a gonne forcetame it cause heck I’ve been looking for a high level for ages and I rearly want or b spam heal with a snow owl

I think your numbers are wrong on the primitive shotgun. I shot it 3 times and it didn't go into shield mode. It took like 5-6 shots.

After some testing. Yes the can dmg Metal structures but only with the Shoulder bash. If you build the trap out of Metal gates and stay far enough away from the Acro whilst it's in the Shield stance you should be fine.

You can, but only to enrage them. Try to get them into shield stance that way and you'll probably kill them

The Rifle is still good since you can count the shots but Shotgun is better xD

Great video but you made one mistake when you were talking of the shots the Acro needs to take to go in to rage or to the shield stance the damage you have to deal is not a set number but a % of its max health so depending on its health stat the number of shots can varry a lot the 150 Acro you showed in the video had a very low health stat with only 13 points that came out to 4k but Acros can have around 7-8k if the health stat is good

Ok When I tested it out it always used up the same amount of ammo on the 150 Acros. I also want to say I tested it Out on 10 Acros with Different health stats

They are pretty good for the dragon boss since he targets mounted creatures. And for the savage acro they are good as well but also include Brachis in your army

I dont know why... maybe it got fixed, but it does not work in 2023. If you trap then in dinogates, they just won't shield neither enrage. How ever if you do not trap them they do it, which makes them harder to tame nowadays.
