What is VPX Technology? Chris explains how to use VPX technology in part 1 of 2 in this introduction video series.
VPX single board computers and VPX carrier cards (VITA 46) are ideal for high-performance industrial, defense, scientific research, and telephony systems requiring high-speed I/O with serial fabric interconnect technologies. VPX carrier cards with PCI Express provide a simple and cost-effective solution for interfacing a PMC or XMC I/O modules to a VPX computer system. FPGA modules offer great flexibility and performance for custom computing applications. Depending on your system’s operating environment, you can select air-cooled, conduction-cooled or Ruggedized Enhanced Design Implementation (REDI VITA 48) versions.
