Hi Hangry, I'm lowkey one of those ghost students that have been learning so much from your page. I can't count the number of times I replay your videos just to get things running. Also, I love how practical your posts are, most are well detailed even though some can be lengthy at times :) But, it's still worth every second. So, I have finally been able to setup my Et-8550 Printer (Got this printer due to the recommendation on one of your posts). I got everything ready and set for DTF printing, the last step was purchasing the Acrorip software (It's kinda expensive though, for a software). Now, this is my problem... Acrorip does not print on my PC, it gives the paper-feeder error whenever I initiate a print. It sends the command but the printer never picks up the transfer film. At first, I thought it was the feeder, I looked up every possible suggestion on youtube and tried different approaches but to no avail. Weird thing is, I am able to print normally on both phone and windows using the transfer film, but it never works with Acrorip. This has frustrated me for the past 2 days and I am just about to throw in the towel so before that, I thought it best to post my experience, I'll appreciate any help. It's so frustrating because I had to get a new windows pc since Acrorip does not work on my Mac. Before that, I purchased the Parallels desktop software to run Acrorip but unfortunately the image wasn't loading despite trying multiple file-types.

I have the same problem, it does not print film, only paper and I have Acrorip 10.5

Gotta put a black line over the top of the paper so the printer knows something is entering. Printer has troubles seeing transparent paper

Best way to print on dtf films is have normal paper behind and it has to be the same size as the paper you’re using 😊

Thank you for the video. But, you confused me with the set up on the ink channel. I put my ink as follow in the tank: BWCYMW and I used the same setting in Acrorip. The Black and White were flip- So I had to set up ink channels in Acrorip as follow: WBCYMW. This is working perfect! I think I read in the comments someone was confused as well. I hope this message helps anyone who made the same mistake I made. Thanks!

I just got an 8550 and this series is the best i have come across. Thanks for the info. I am going to watch more of your videos but do you currently run the same settings as posted here? Also I have an external white tank when setting up the ink will i have to get a chip resetter?

Do you have problems with lines/streaks in your prints? If I change bidirectional printing off it helps a little but they are still there

My whites keep clogging after one or two prints. Maybe just an hour or two sitting. I'm just getting streaks of white not solid. Power cleaning only works for one or two prints. Please help!!

Hi, make sure both boxes are checked (print color first & white + color) the amount Pages should also both say 1.

I'm using these exact settings and it keeps giving me a print command error white ink empty, it is not empty. I used a previous video that told me to put the ink in as WWCYMK so that's what I did. how do I fix it? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software and same thing. Something is wrong some where.

You currently have your measurements settings set to CM (centimeters). In the Acrorip settings change it to IN (inches).

The first 2 channels in Acrorip need to be switched in channel settings.

When I switch off the first tank in Acrorip it works great but when I enable both white tanks in Acrorip I get a yellow base. Is there another reason I might be getting a yellow base? Hi, you need Acrorip version 10.5 to use the Epson Stylus Pro 4000. The drivers are not available in Acrorip 10.3

I did every step you did and my printer just keeps printing blank pages? 😔 I have been at it all day trying to research why this happening do you have any idea? It's connected to my printer I'm able to do head cleanings from there so there's communication from the software to the printer.. just when I print an image it says printing and then just feeds the paper through slowly with nothing printed..

Hi, how's your nozzle check look, any ink? If nozzle check is fine, then it could probably the printer width sensor is not detecting the film in Acrorip. You can put tape on the back of the film to make it more visible. Here's how I do mine. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXixoIijls55bck

@@HangryMuscle I did that Also and I even tried a sublimation paper to see if it works and it still feeds out a blank page.. the nozzle check looks good from the printer setting however, when I run it through the software it also prints a blank page.. im not sure what's happening I was using cadlink trial and it worked so good I wish I would have used it before I bought this one, I would have stuck with it instead 😅

Before,this issue started I managed to print a few sheets to check that the colors were accurate, what I did ..I had put about 5 sheets of film A3 to the left,without tape ,and it worked down to second last sheet..then it started

In Acrorip set the channels to KWCYMW. And then your ink in the tanks should be in this order WKCYMW. I'm not sure if leaving off while empty will cause any damage.

Could be various reasons, you're using the wrong Acrorip version, no usb connection, your pc doesn't recognize your printer, possibly a drivers issue.

I put White in the Black & Grey Channels. Black in the photo black channel. Left to Right it should be White, Black, Cyan,Yellow, Magenta, White for your inks. In Acrorip set the Channels to KWCYMW. Appreciate you watching! 🙏💪

No, Acrorip version 10 doesn't have a cracked version and the rip software will not work with the physical dongle being plugged into the pc.

If you're just using the Et-8550 i would recommend cadlink, requires more to setup but it has more features. Cadlink and Acrorip are the only DTF rips that support the Et-8550.

Yeah it can, its looked underneath the printhead. You can try wiping from underneath with a paper towel or taking the printhead out to wipe the sensor.
