In Hawaiian, Hana means “work” . The road to Hana was built as a pathway to get around the other side of the island on land instead of by boat. In parallel, Hana or 하나 in Korean means one and 하나님 means God. In Hebrew Hana is translated as the grace of God. All this to say like the native Hawaiians God carved out the road for us to find him. Just like the foreigners i Hawaii who couldnt find their way around the islands waters, We too are lost sheep trying to find our way back to our shepherd. There is only one long long road to Hana In Hawaii. In some places that Road becomes so narrow only one car can pass through at a time. There is also only one path that leads to God or “Hananim” 하나님 and that Is NOT by the works of the law, but only by “the grace of God” which is Christ Jesus and our faith in him. By this grace, our faith in Christ Jesus release us from having to keep up appearances in the world’s eyes and instead allows us to live freely in God’s love. Christ lives In us - that’ what makes us children of God because he is Gods son. So let us go on loving one another living by a creed of “love only”, in all situations and with all people. (Let’put In the extra love It takes to love our husbands and wifes sisters and brothers and those family members that have betrayed us )
“For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.”

Hawaii is really surreal, truly set in paradise. So much to do, and you really don't have to spend a lot of money. Therefore we spent money to fly via Hawaii's small commuter planes to the big island of Hawaii. We flew over other Hawaiian islands getting there. It's about a 30 minute flight. Their I saw black sand beaches, and a active volcano. I did many other things as well. Best to plan your itinerary, because you are not going to want to waste any time. Stay in a moderately priced hotel with a kitchenette. Breakfast was made, and eaten in. After breakfast we were out the hotel, and returned to recharge with lunch, that again we cooked. After lunch a short rest or nap, and we were gone again, not to return until late night. Money was saved to use toward having dinner out a couple of times, at some nice restaurants, other than that we chose moderately priced restaurants, for dinner. If you go on evening tours, dinner sometimes is included, in the ticket price. Here's a hint, get a Sunday subscription to the Hawaii newspaper, to find loads of things to do. I think it's called the Hawaii Convention Center, and if you call them, they will send you tons of info for free, ( at that time, anyway), about lots of things to do and see, from free to all different price points.

I can barely believe no real accidents happened with so many kids, since kids seem to attract them wherever they go but then you all do a good job of always keeping an eye on each other and looked out for one another so well during that walk to the waterfalls ! It was lovely to watch 🥰
