ooh something i just found out: out of the 195 countries on earth, the UN considers Taiwan to be represented by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and is thus not a part of this number ‘195’

I actually was a delegate of China in my last MUN at school, and the agenda was a conflict happening with China and Taiwan on the 'one country two systems' thing. It was a really big controversy! Have you ever participated in a MUN?

Okay, just realised you said you were confused about the whole China thing. So here's what I've understood so far- The PRC's government is refusing to acknowledge Taiwan as an independent country, whereas Taiwan has declared itself to be a country apart from China. It's still a current happening, and as of now, while a lot of governments, journalists, articles and other countries seem to see Taiwan as separate from China, the PRC's government has still not acknowledged it as so.

Hey, here’s a boba recipe that works for me Recipe: 1/4 cup Brown/white sugar 1 cup tapioca starch 100 ml Water 1. Combine water, sugar, and 1/4 of the starch and mix into a liquid 2. Microwave for 1 min 3. Gradually combine the rest of the starch until it forms a non sticky but stretchy dough 4. Roll into little balls and coat with a little bit of tapioca starch so it doesn’t stick to each other 5. Boil for 25 min 6. Drain with cold water so it becomes chewy 7. Put into drink, and enjoy!
