Hi Jura; the sound and orchestration is purely gold. Is there any chance you can upload your MIDI file, so we can study your orchestration arrangement? I do understand that the MIDI will not be as epic as your actual composition, but would love to study how all the various parts have been layered together. Keep up the great work.

WOW!!!! You are amazing. I have to ask, I am making a movie of my own and have never written a film score and am thinking about using cubase for my film's original score. Is it possible to create great original music from the program, or do I need a keyboard to do it? Thank you so much

Such a moving piece! What are the main specs for your computer to be able to run a project so big? How much RAM do you have, and what is your processor? Also can you make a video in which you cover some of the main libraries that you use when writing a piece?
@jurapuclin7 жыл бұрын
Rojoinc Thank you!..My PC has an i5 4460 processor and 24gb RAM although i think 16gb would be enough for most tracks. I was considering to make a video. So maybe I’ll do it in the near future ;)
@rojoinc7 жыл бұрын
Puclin Music I ask because I have an AMD 8350 FX, along with 16 GB of RAM. I’ve been using FL Studio, but my computer sometimes crashes when trying to load the project. I’ve been considering switching to Cubase but I’m not sure yet.
@jurapuclin7 жыл бұрын
hmm..I don't know why this would happen but I think it doesn't have to do with RAM,,.and as I see the processor is also very good.. probably something to do with the software. try uninstalling and installing it again..see if it also crashes..I have never had this problem with Cubase.
@rojoinc7 жыл бұрын
Do you have a template with the instruments already loaded, or do you start each composition with a blank project?

I start each with a blank project.. and then load instruments as I go.

Mehran Mosaddeq Hi there, thank you... I went to music school but i wouldn’t say it helped me much in terms of composing..I was a trumpet player:)..so I’d have to go with the experience..learning how others do it (a lot of material on you tube) and listening to music:)

Hey Puclin, whenever you write a piece, what is the first thing you work on? The bass line, or melody? How do you get the ideas to create such an amazing piece?
@jurapuclin7 жыл бұрын
Rojoinc oftentimes I would play chords and then come up with the melodies on top of it which is not a conventional way of writing but it works for me :),, other times I would have a melody which I would then harmonize..in cubase i would start writing with instruments that play chords and then melodies on top of it, then I would write percussion.. something like that.:)
@rojoinc7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the information! I usually come up with an idea by messing around on a piano. It's really rare that I come up with a song I actually like haha. I've always wanted to make an epic piece like that, but I can never seem to get it haha.

Just seems like it lacks vision. Kind of like you were just playing around on the keyboard. You're excellent at modulation and transitions but you seem to have trouble with inventing, following through with, and being consistent with a clear concise concept. This is not to be an asshole. Just my honest opinion. I know this is three years ago too, so I gotta go view the newer ones and look forward to seeing how you've progressed.
