gavo1201 but it isn't up to her on what songs that will be placed on an album. It all comes down to the big wigs at Warner Bros.. They make the final decision. Madonna can only make suggestions and present songs.

During the Ray of Light era, Madonna said what we hear on the album is the edited version of the song Ray of Light, stating that Warner Bros. had both Madonna and Orbit needed to edit the song down suggesting that it was too long. Madonna also said she wanted the lead off single of that album to be Ray of Light, but Warner Bros. told her they wanted Frozen to be the lead off single.

M a d o n n a I am far from being ignorant. If Warner Bros. didn't want Human Nature to be released as a single, it wouldn't have been released as a single. Like MANY major recording labels such as Warner Bros., they have the final say when releasing a product under their label.

wiibaron I highly doubt it was Madonna's decision to not place this song on the album, but the record company's big wigs. People think Madonna has full control of what goes on her albums and what is cut. But that is farthest from the truth. For instance, Madonna has said for the album Ray of Light, we are actually hearing the watered down versions of both Ray of Light and Frozen because the record company told her the songs were just too long. She was disappointed that she had to shortened the song Frozen because the original version that she submitted for review had an incredible strings sound. She also said she wanted the lead off single for Ray of Light to be Ray of Light, but the record company told her no and that they wanted Frozen to be. Madonna has also said she wanted Rebel Heart to be split into 2 CDs of which one CD would be about being a Rebel and the other being about the Heart, but was told by the record company not to do it that way. Of course she has to listen to them, even though she is Madonna.
