The part where Jude is trying to get to Lucy and they're calling out for each other always makes me cry.

Me too. Before that scene played, i was texting with my gf and she asks me “what if the world tries to tear and keep us apart”.. As soon as she said that, that part came up and it had me in tears and it was very heartbreaking

0:38 This is stunning. I was left speechless when I first watch this episode of the film. The movie itself is a purest jewel. I am afraid that only the people from 1960s and 1970s can thoroughly appreciate its brilliance. A true masterpiece, to say the least.

I love all the covers in this movie. It's like getting a glimpse of what the Beatles' songs were really about.

When I saw this the Iraq War was full blown on. We were divided and this movie proved that the Beatles music is timeless and universal. Now it's 2023 and we're back to being divided again. Remember that period when Pokeman Go came out and everyone just seemed to get along fine for about six months? That was in 2016 if you can believe that.
@music72kc15 жыл бұрын
this was the perfect way to mix these songs. "Nothings gonna change my world" silently sung beneath the protest and helter skelter representing the craziness of the times while the police and people passing are mouthing "notings gonna change my world". not many people understand that

My interpretation of the weird ending was that Max shot civilians by accident and freaked out. Possibly he was caught off guard by the enemy while shocked and that's why he's in the hospital next time we see him.

I've always interpreted it as showing how the Vietnam villagers were not the only victims. You can see Lucy falling into the water with them, effectively drowning in the turmoil of the war just like the people in Vietnam.
@ksb7815 жыл бұрын
3:46 is when this scene hits me like a ton of bricks. Max looks like such a baby so scared and frightened. It just shows you the casualties of wars are the young men, no, boys( and now girls) that are dying in the name of their country.

the expression the scene and the songs were very well done in this part, honestly when i watch this scene and listen to the way the music is being expressed is actually quite perfect, just like in the scene where the police officers are trying to control the peace makers, the songs do the EXACT same thing, Helter Skelter isn't much about words but the way its played...err something like that im no sure how to put it in words... dont judge...im trying to make my point :\
