Anyone who disagrees with The Beatles being the all-time greatest band to ever come to this world is either a hater or doesn't understand them. You got four men that came together to create over 400 songs, over 300 (Don't remember exacts) in 13 albums which EACH one of them having multiple songs they sung in which all of them had great voices for 4 different people. The world had rock and roll getting there and then the Beatles came and changed everything. You have kids still listening to them and are probably the most considered band to show to a child and say, this was how music was. I'm 20 and I just think music is over if the music now is like this. It's like the soul was taken out of it in most bands these days.

Nobody will ever be better. In 200 years from now people will still be listening to this band.

John Lennon....GREATEST SONGWRITER...EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I get my guitar out...put on this video...play along with this tune...listen to the lyrics...and realize what an absolute masterpiece this tune is. The voice, the strumming, the lyrics, and the connection of the mind...what a beautiful picture John paints! This tune is so relaxing as well as mesmerizing. This is what was so amazing with the Beatles...they created pieces of art on all of our individual canvases. "Across the Universe"...what a beautiful picture...with three words.

Obviously...one of the most beautiful tunes ever recorded. I love John and his music. His music will never die...neither will any of the Beatles music. Their music will be eternally great.

This tune is one of the most beautiful songs ever...ever...put on record. The music, vocals, lyrics,...John Lennon ...I love it...I picture myself in outer space. How can someone write such beautiful lyrics? John is very much alive.

This song brings me back to 8th grade, when I would sit with my friend at the end of the year, her long blond hair shining in the sun, both of us laughing and smiling and listening and singing to this song. Truly bittersweet. A wonderful song with great value.

I love the Beatles... John, Paul, and George produced "absolute classics." Tunes that will be played 100 years from now. That is what made the beatles so special..."so damn many absolute classics!" Across the Universe is one of their finest. The tune can stir up "so many emotions in so many people"...a true classic!

Not just anyone could come up with such a blessed song. John was one in a billion.

This is one of my favorites. Lennon himself thought this was one of his best. I stood without the need of a melody, though it had a deeply beautiful one. This is a testament to the brilliance and genius of Lennon. Profound imagery in the words, The greatest of guitar accompaniment, and of course...His unique voice and vocal arrangements. This is (to me) a song for the ages........Timeless.......

Wow! What a story! My earliest memories of the Beatles is listening to them on a small white transistor radio when I was 9 years old. I Want to Hold Your Hand and She Loves You and Saw Her Standing There. I remember waiting for each new album and listening to what they did this time. It was miraculous. The White Album? Let it Be? The rooftop concert. The pain of the breakup. The miracle of the Beatles.

There is no Beatles without John Lennon. Never cared for anything McCartney did after the Beatles. But it was John who had a deep spiritual connection with 'the universal consciousness' even if he was not a christian. And he brought it out in his music. Love the man

Indeed there are no songs today which compare to this one. So touching in its simplicity and beuatiful melody. This song datyes back to the days when the Beetles were at their very best ever. Those wee the days..... Much later I heard it as a theme song in a very interesting movie... "Pleasantville", sung by a young artist......Fiona Apple. Beuatiful song indeed.

This will always have an unending meaning to me and for me. It evolks many emotions and thoughts which help me release or connect with myself. Who writes such honest lyrics these days? Songs now are typically written about relationship struggles and not about peace within thine self nor inner struggle to find something positive. I fully appreciate the simplicity of the music in this song as it carries the lyrics in a gentle caress. Nothing's going to change my world. To each his own.
