Tour of Mallos de Riglos, Huesca

The Mallos de Riglos are a huge natural sculptures that draw an astonishing mountain landscape. They consist in a group of vertical structures of conglomerate rock that reach up to 300 metres, and define a clear and impressive physical border between this part of the pre-pyrenees mountain.
Because of their relatively vertical sides, the Mallos de Riglos are a popular destination for climbers.
Climbing in Riglos has an international fame, not so much for its difficulty but rather for its unusual style, due to the unique combination of conglomerate rock and long vertical routes.
Although you are at almost 700m high, the summer is hot in this area that has a mixed continental and Mediterranean climate. So best time to visit the Mallos de Riglos is early spring and late autumn.

We went here not to climb the huge towers of rock, but to do a 14 kilometer walk around the Mallos de Riglos, awesome experience!
