In diesem Video könnt Ihr miterleben, wie so manches mal ein Bild bei mir zu stande kommt. Ich habe einfach Lust zu malen und beginne, ohne nur die geringste Ahnung zu haben, was ich machen werde. Manchmal dauert es ganz schön lange und es braucht eine Handvoll Techniken und Schichten, bis das Bild mir seine Idee präsentiert. Wenn ich positiv bleibe im Prozess und zuversichtlich, wenn ich mir Pausen gönne (manchmal auch über Nacht oder mehrere Tage), wird mir das Bild irgendwann sagen, was es werden will. Probiert es einmal aus.... und lasst Euch von Zufall und Intuition leiten!
In this video you can see, how some of my paintings "happen" to me. I just feel like painting and I start without having the slightest idea what I'm going to do. Sometimes it takes a long time and it takes a handful of techniques and layers for the painting to present its idea to me. If I stay positive in the process and confident, if I take breaks (sometimes overnight or several days), the painting will eventually tell me what it wants to be. Try it out ... and let chance and intuition guide you!

I never think to seal after using alcohol and water to disturb the paint. This is very helpful, I am often frustrated by my underpainting blistering and peeling.

This is a very lovely abstract painting of flowers, Gerda. The background you created before painting the flowers is quite a process. It is really amazing. The colors of the flowers are soft and blend harmoniously into the other. You make it so leisurely, a most lovely work of art.

Pour le glaçage, on dilue la peinture avec du colorant acrylique ou avec de l'eau ou avec les deux, tout est possible...
