Acrylic abstract painting demonstration

Demonstration of acrylic abstract painting. This time the canvas is not textured with gesso. Its painted directly on canvas. Brought the texture with mark making and scratching the paint. Most of the painting is done with palette knife.Many layers of paint is applied. That layers popping underneath looks great. Abstract painting has great possibilities to explore. Love to try different techniques everytime. Hope u all will enjoy watching the process as much as i enjoyed painting it.

All the great names in abstract they deviated away from realistic art but never lost the touch with reality. Abstraction does not mean total loss of meaning. Abstraction is meant for willfull exaggeration of some components in order to emphasise something which is special for the artist. I have respect for every artwork because I feel that all artwork has a personality of its own. And we celebrate that special thing which is created.

Really like the scratching in paint and mark making into the paint on this video. There is so much texture, but then that additional technique really adds so much interest and even more texture. Just beautiful work. And the script is phenomenal - adds that cohesive element to the painting that just harmonizes the whole piece. Wow!! Again- just stunning!!!

Pretty good. A hard thing for beginners to get is that the scale of the painting and all of its elements has to fit the canvas size with abstracts. Usually people try to cram far too much into a small canvas.

everytime i saw abstract painting my mind begin to explode! i really love to know what behind the artist imagination what kind of emotion they feel during they strike the canvas,but sadly i never ever understand what was the meaning or never ever picture out any image at those paintings ived seen before,somebody told me that every person has her/his own interpretation base on their mind and emotion, for real i always intertprate paintings as view of natures like a landscape,the ocean the sky the trees anything about natures always like that,anyone can gave me a simple guide how to do abstarct reading please?i dont know,why i really love to look this things that i cant really understand,frankly everytime i tried to read abstract paintings my mind begin to travel a thousand miles and ended i noticed my self standing always in the front of it
