Hello my friends.... I know I know... I disappeared for a while... just was too busy with all competitions. Got back home and have some time off before the last competition for this year in Bath County VA. This demo was recorded on the last day of Easton Plein Air with Joe, one of the best acrylic Plein air artists in the US... I'm serious!!! I hope you will enjoy it! Also, many episodes are coming including Easton and Adirondacks/Saranac Lake Plein air competition... I did small episodes. And of course a lot of demos and reviews..so, please stay tuned!

Lovely work from Joe and nice educational video. Acrylics have a reputation for drying fast, so it’s nice to see someone using acrylics for plein air with good results and no drying paint issues. Thank you for sharing!

Cool demo. This is making me consider switching to acrylic for plein air. Oil is such a pain

Here in the west, they dry out pretty quickly! Very interesting to watch it go from very abstract to impressionistic! Definitely inspirational! Will try this method, just for fun!

It’s so happened that my first acrylics were Chroma Atelier Interactive and I never understood that fear of the paints prematurely dried up. As long as you can spray them with water they would stay workable. And you don’t have to keep your brushes in water while working either.

Couldn't help notice Joe's shirt - Ocean Grove- is that the one in NJ? I use to vacation there every summer as a kid with my family. I am not an artist but always curious about how to paint. Was interesting how he mixed his colors. Thanks for sharing.
