glad I stumbled across your channel... I was wondering if you could sand the back of a CD case and run a strip of chibitronics (store.chibitronics.com/collections/all) along the bottom edge and then stamp on the front of the case if it would give the same affect... I'm moving my CD's from their jewel cases to envelopes and am looking for ideas on re purposing the cases and this looks promising...

Hi battygirlrachel, I did try CD cases and there are two problems: The first is that the cases are polystyrene and do transmit some light edge-to-edge, but very poorly when the surface is abraded. Second, the polystyrene is too thin and transmits only a small amount of light. I was going to add it into the video but thought better of it. Sorry for the thumbs down! Take care, Ken.
