Today I'm working on a 12'' x 16'' canvas.
Pillow/Base:
Base/Pillow:
British Paints Interior Low Sheen house paint in White, nothing added.
Colours:
Holcroft Impasto Carbon Black
#TLP Athena
TLP pigments, silicone stir sticks and silicone pour mats can be purchased from fluid-art.co/
My black and pigments are mixed with untinted gloss house paint (water based) and Jo Sonja gloss varnish.

This was mixed with Aussie Floetrol.
I never measure ratios, I mix until it leaves a slight trace when drizzled from around an inch above the surface.

My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores and on Amazon. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too.
My metal spatulas are artist pallet knives, they can be purchased from fluid-art.co/ or independent art stores.

Wow! This went thru several metamorphosis. I loved the beginning where it looked like an abstract with a person holding the universe. Then is morphed to the universe growing and spreading outwards. Then that began to deconstruct into this brillant cacophony of lace and cells and the colors are intriguing. Fantastic Niki. Loved the process of it.

I am staying in South Africa and do not have Australian floetrol - it will cost me R4000 to get 2 liters here- anything I can replace it with? We have very little art supplies here- realy battering to get product for could pour and bloom effect - I have tried so many different products and nothing seems to work! Please help - God Bless!

Some people have managed to get lacing using Amsterdam paint with water, just mix it to get the same consistency as I show in my videos.

It depends on your weather conditions, temperatures etc. In cooler weather it can take 3 days, warm days a day or two
