Yes, that is what we may tell ourselves. But deep inside we know what really happened... The painting does indeed portray "the darker side of fire" by what it leaves to the imagination. Very well done.

Thank you! Colors: - cadmium red deep - dioxazine purple - cadmium yellow medium - titanium white - ultramarine blue The starting colors were a mix of dioxazine purple, cadmium yellow medium, and Cadmium red deep.
