When using the tape method you can also paint over the edges of the tape with some white paint first, let that dry and after that use your colors:) the white will fill in the gaps between the paper and the tape so there’s no room for colors to leak in:)
@Osyrous2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! This is genius. What would you suggest if you already have a layer of color that you now want to tape over and add another layer over for a specific patter?
@Fravii Жыл бұрын
@@Osyrous You’re welcome ☺️ In this case I’d go over the edges with the color you first used and that’s now underneath the tape☺️ also please make sure that your tape is not too sticky. Otherwise it could rip off the first layer.
@jessemolina4233 Жыл бұрын
Which tape do you recommend?
@Fravii Жыл бұрын
@@jessemolina4233 I like to use the Tesa masking professional sensitive tape (the pink one) it’s not as sticky as others which means it’s not as likely to rip the paper when peeling it off. In case it seems to stick to the paper (for example if you left it on for a very long time), you can try and use a hairdryer to warm up the tape and you should be able to peel it off easier :) I hope that helped:)

Yea, I had the same thought. I also think it might be helpful for things like a volcano or so. But no idea of that really works out, it's been just a thought too!
@JenniferFunnellArt4 жыл бұрын
Yes! You totally could. Modeling paste is layer-able, meaning you can build it up and apply more wet modeling paste on top of dry. This way you could build up a moon or a volcano. You can add textures into the modeling paste and almost "sculpt it" especially if you let it dry a little, but mold it while it is still wet.
