Acrylic Painting Tutorial - Relaxing Cloud Painting (for Beginners)

If you are looking for a way to destress a little, like I am, here is a calm, chilled out, and relaxing painting tutorial of clouds for you to follow along with. In this beginner painting tutorial I show you how to paint clouds in a very simple and formulated way that makes a great art piece all on its own. But rather than worrying about what the art piece it's self looks like in the end, we are just focusing on enjoying the process of painting. This is not a tutorial for you to create a masterpiece. This is a tutorial to help you focus on the feeling of painting itself.

I,ve made my own gray pallet today. I got a picture frame,gray primer and i got 3 acrylic primary colours from the brand the wall. Guess were i get all this.....the hardware store 😄🥰👋🏾 thanks for you,re art hacks Emily Macky Art. These hacks saved my painting life litarley. I don,t need a scraper cause i can wash it off whit water. I paint only whit acrylic paint so i don,t need a scraper hahha lol

Today, after I finish my school work I want to paint this one sketch that I’ve been thinking about recently, on a big canvas. It’s inspired by that one red/orange/pink ocean scene that you did in oils (but I’m doing mine in acrylics). Your channel has really inspired me and has helped me increase my skills when it comes to water, clouds, and just other painting tips in general. I have a question... have you ever done a big painting? I know you do small and medium ones but I don’t think I’ve seen a big one before. ❤️

I make clouds whit a round paint brush and i use fan brushes in diffrent sizes. That all the brushes i use for my acrylic paintings

I used Gouache for a couple of Emilys tutorials. It doesn't work the same as acrylics (because Goauche is harder to layer without disturbing the underneath layers) but most of the time it worked fine for me :) I will definitely try this one with Gouache too :)
