I really enjoyed trying these pigments out! What ideas for pours do you guys want me to do with this? Any experiments? I have a few in mind!

I love the art you make with the hairdryer! I'd love to see you do one using the bright coloured pigments if you are able to, please. Say hi to your playful garage ghost 👻 for me! 😀❤
@staceyjaneway40005 жыл бұрын
You are very inspiring, I pour as well I just don't put it on youtube. Lol. When you use the hair dryer like the huge coral reef, what else could you do like that? Also do you have to try to get cells or do you naturally get them? I have noticed if i use silicone, it produces a little or a lot of cells. Also, I have gotten cells with no silicone. Can you tell me how to not mess a painting up as far as if I touch it accidentally how could I fix that? I love these colors, they are amazing. I also love your ring pour! I have so many questions but the other important question is. Have you ever used a latex paint?

MOLLY'S ARTISTRY love your work and would love to have one love from John Saxon in Australia
@MOLLYSARTISTRY5 жыл бұрын
Wow stacey that's a lot lol! Yes I use latex interior hose paint. I get cells naturally from thin paint. You can do this technique on anything! As far as fixing, you can embellish over, or add gold leafing but if the painting is near dry, not a whole lot you can do.

Going back to how i fist did the only two I like, and that means Flotrol, water, pigment. And made it ticker. Also used the 4 drops of the lub. I had gotten so I made the paints with a real tiny mound. Used butane.....now I sit and wait. Most cells will not form. But you can see a touch of color under the top color. Torching will not bring them up either.

I’ve only watched a couple of videos on this technique but this is really beautiful. You can see the rings really well. The texture reminds me of a cave wall with a mineral ribbon-the water slowly drips over time leaving this multi layered flowing ribbon full of color and texture that changes with your movement. Then the colors!! Absolutely gorgeous pigment. It looks calm and peaceful on the surface but when you look closer you see the shimmer and the pink and green, periwinkle all are waiting in there. This looks like it has color shifts in the paints! I tried some primary elements. It's such a pain mixing and mixing.! I guess I am spoiled. I mix sometimes 12 oz. bottles of color and it keeps really well. I always check consistency. I don't usually use silicone...just flotroel and water and a little liquitex . gloss
