This is much more accurate than the thinking that it's the poor who are flashy. It's really the new money, you have it (mostly lol) but you never had money before so you go buy all the stuff you ever thought about. Poor people can't afford to do all that.

So true...stay down. My wife and I make over 250K combined. We pay 2K a month for rent and drive a paid off 2012 Audi. My only fear is when the Audi dies...my wife is going to want another one. I'm talking up the Honda Civic to her now. Because another round of 3k - 5K in car repair and maintenance per year is messing with my feng shui.

I have people questioning me and telling me all the time that i should be living a certain lifestyle. Wanting to know why I'm not balling out and buying a bunch of toys and fun stuff, the whole YOLO lifestyle. And i consistency say i refuse to pay someone else more than I'm paying myself. I refuse to have a payment or expense on anything that's more than a payment that I am investing and paying into to myself so that I can secure a solid financial future for myself. Great video and content Anton 💯

That question led to an answer I was looking for. My husband and I earn well and we are blessed to have no mortgage. Others have thrown their opinions about how we should have a big, pretty house since we can afford it. But we have no interest. It’s quiet, safe, peaceful and our family is happy. We can invest and use money for other assets. I know way too many people that are house poor and miserable.

I pay 900 and I live in a 3 bedroom house quiet neighborhood around old folks and families.. literally two seconds from the highway but you can’t hear anything .. I remember when me and my ex lived in the city and we were paying 1200 dollars plus HOA fees an commuting 2 hours everyday to work due to traffic.. just to be broke.. never again ❤

Move; you can pay twice the rent and still invest. Buy treasuries they're yielding over 4 percent. They pay you every 6 months. The stock market is a casino. Pay off debt; drive a late model Honda,or Toyota and stack at least six months salary. Don't spend six months salary on wedding ring cause marriage in the US is rugged.

$600 rent depends on in what zip code? If the zip code is not desirable I would consider moving since it also can cost a considerable amount for a middle to higher income earner to live in da hood - your credit score, availability/lack of basic services, transportation, schools, medical, industry, infrastructure, good food, charged more for insurance, finance, delivery etc. Plus not being able to socially access like minded people as easily.

If you want cheap rent/cheap mortgages you gotta get away from the big cities and the expensive states and move somewhere "boring" like the Midwest... I live in the middle of nowhere Iowa, I rented a 525sq ft 1 bedroom unit in a 4 plex from 2008 to 2014, it was $465 a month utilities included. That same unit is $595 now, and I know that because my nephew has lived there the past 3 years now. The building isn't owned by some corporate conglomerate, it's owned by older gentleman who lives in one unit and rents the other 3. There's quite a bit of that around here, people rent out their own properties for some supplemental income and they're typically pretty affordable. When I bought my house in 2014, a 1300 sq ft 3 bedroom 1.5 bath (also in the middle of nowhere Iowa) my monthly mortgage payment was $560, I paid it off in 7 years by throwing $1500-2000 at it per month. Yes things do cost more now days, but just looking at an estimate site a mortgage on my home would cost around $730 a month now assuming halfway decent credit and 20% down like I did back then. Should also probably mention that I'm on 5.5 acres and not in some metropolitan ghetto.

I can pay a year worth of rent with my 1 month income, and still have leftovers. Living cheap is stress free. Increase your income, not your spending. Problem is, people think $2000 rent is the barely able to pay rent. So no matter how much they scrutinize their own budget, they think all of it are necessary. Rent is the easiest to cut. calculate it by a year, how much of a difference you can get just staying in $600 rent vs $2000 rent. even if you can only cut it to 1200, 800x12 is 9600.

if you make six figures say $100,000 always keep in mind that's not your take home pay. so after taxes its $72,000.00 if you want to be smart abou it always save 25% or more. so $18,000.00 you can't touch the average american retiree spends around $4,345 a month on basic living expenses like housing, transpotation, food, insurance etc. we know you'll be spending more than that when you're working/younger. so there's not much wiggle room.

We are free today substantially, but the day will come when our Republic will be an impossibility. It will be an impossibility because wealth will be concentrated in the hands of a few. A Republic cannot stand upon bayonets, and when the day comes when the wealth of the nation will be in the hands of a few, then we must rely upon the wisdom of the best elements in the country to readjust the laws of the nations to the changed conditions. @Tony-lm5zs
@Tony-lm5zs Жыл бұрын
@@rissaheads6091 yep, just check the stats in Georgia, especially Atlanta. Heck even watch Kendra G dating show. Unlimited supply of women calling in who live for today instead of the future. So bad even if they make 6 figures and need a man’s 6 figures to maintain a lifestyle they can’t afford. I personally experienced this with many women of all races Ive dated in Atlanta and Miami. I say many not for the purpose of as many conquest, but looking for a woman who is a minimalist such as myself. It’s easier for a man to do this than a woman. Not saying all or most but it’s a high % of women living like this and that’s why I don’t take any seriously until we get to the point where she starts throwing hints for $ help directly or indirectly. Don’t get me wrong it’s men who won’t heed this advice because many are brainwashed into living a certain way based on income due to what others say and do along with using it as bait to attract a woman(usually the wrong one).If you go against the gain, of course typical shame tactics are applied to individuals who choose to yo live for their future and potentially the future of their legacy. I’ve know women who aren’t like this but it’s usually one who isn’t materialistic or prefer the more simpler lifestyle. It’s their money and they can choose how they spend it but it gets annoying when I constantly meet women who claim to be bosses or independent until some setback occurs such as a down market in their business or whatever else. These women aren’t going to do for me what they desire me to do for them so I wave the 🏳️ and bounce. I have many friends who say the same thing about those they are dealing with. I’m not talking about the $ used to court a woman or gifts I deal with, I’m talking about those financially stretched to the max with their high end car note and Large empty home that they only live in. Of course I try to advise to maintain a budget but also a savings for all your bills to be covered no matter what for 1-2 years minimum. I’m not talking about women who earn 20-50k, I’m talking about 6 figure plus earners. I know a real estate multimillionaire on paper but is very cash poor struggling following out of date leveraging tactics many have gone bankrupt doing. Again there are men who do the same out here but aim speaking from those I’ve personally experienced and it’s been a lot of them either dating, business, or plutonic relationships.

Terrible advice. $600 in rent at six figures? Unfortunately, the environment controls. The guest didn’t give enough data about $600 in rent. Parents? Roommates? Most important part is where are you staying at $600. I don’t know a place in America with $600 rent that’s viable. And at a six figure income? Ridiculous. Ice Cube tried that and quickly found out that mindset didn’t conform to reality. Anton isn’t living where he could actually and reasonably afford BUT it’s not $600 or shabby either.
