The toilet barricade was a really clever idea. This was one of the first versions of the finale I've seen (including OBC) that wasn't nearly impossible to follow the overlapping vocal parts.

Hahaha! I had a feeling people would comment on the lyric changes. Honestly, the issue was with me. I am not really able to powerfully sing high notes on a "EEE" vowel sound. In the original lyrics, it did this a lot. "You made me to SEE," Your words were like SEEDS." It would not have sounded as strong if we had not changed the lyrics to a more open vowel sound.

6:20 well that was anticlimactic. I know they're holding her hostage but, that's just silly. When my school did they're production of Urinetown, they had the biggest guy from the poor literally pick her up and drag her into the poor crowd. Here... he grabbed her arm... Ahhh?

FrontYardWrestling99 I understand that, but what's the point of doing an adaptation if it's gonna be just like the others? When people do their own production of a play, it's still an adaptation, and in adaptations you have to make changes that make sense and suit the situation and can possibly make it just a little better.

You do realise Hollmann and Kotis wrote this musical as a parody of Musical Theatre itself ? Its meant to look completely ridiculous............. I think thats what makes it hilarious.

Why does Ms. Penny look like a psycho? Her expressions are far too over the top and nuts for this role. Did the people truly understand who she was? She's not a psycho, just a hardened woman who is mean but loves her family.

All I am saying, our High School did better. We had our people move around and interact. Less overacting. Funnier actions (made Barrel a "Homicidal Homosexual"). And better audio (I worked on sound).
