After 34 years I have finally seen the clip of Jay Hansen and I at this Demo. Jay was a great guy. I am John, the guy standing next to him during the interview. Act Up, Fight Back, Fight AIDS. We did make a change. Thank you for Posting this.

Hi John, this is Tony Arena, one of the alumni from ACT UP-NY. I'm so very glad to be able to share this footage so that you could finally see it! I'm sorry that Jay was beaten by the police. I actually remember seeing you at some of the actions that ACT UP did back in those days. Yes! We did good work and changed a lot. There's a great deal we can look back on to be proud of.
