Sometimes I revisit these videos of the Digimon Frontier spirits and fantasize about how cool it would have been if Beetlemon and MetalKabuterimon had released as spirit evolving figures.

If they were to make a single sequel OVA for Frontier, I would imagine the Hyper Spirit forms appearing once the component Spirit sets are uploaded into a single D-Scanner before activating, and as the Hyper Spirit comes into full view, Takuya or Koji will break it apart by pulling its primary weapon off the unit to show that only they can handle the transformation. As the armor gets equipped piece by piece, flashes of the component Spirits will appear one by one. Again, for anti-NSFW purposes, they should be given bodysuits based on their base figure design, but is otherwise mostly original.

All the digidestined or just the two? If you mean the former, that will be a problem because, a. The spirits of wind don't have bodysuits. & B. Chakumon and blizzarmon are just straight up naked.

@@flareblade1420 Just the two. I did mean Hyper Spirit Evolution after all. There is the Double Spirit Evolution, and Raihimon did exist in the actual toys despite not appearing in the show, but there could still be opportunities for the other Double Spirit Evolutions in an OVA or something.

It's funny how the two that look like the one that would actually form OmniMon doesn't actually form into OmniMon. Like Kaiser fully armor and sword and Magna is full of gun and armor.

That was never shown in the Show - Yes, because the 10 Spirits didn't combine into a single Spirit, but instead transformed the Human together into the Digimon, without a Middle-Step.

@9neplacednb You know, you really have to take into consideration that unlike Paildramon, all the Digimon in Frontier were basically designed around their toys and thus are able to look 100% identical to their show counterpart. However, most of the Digivolving figures ever made have to take liberties with the designs to incorporate the transformation which was not in the original character design. I really wish you could explain why ExVeemon looks bad. From my point of view, he looks great.

@PhantomJerad Mm? For a number of reasons: 1. The Japanese figures are harder to find and not as well known as the American versions. 2. They are usually of higher quality than the American versions. 3. There are already tons of reviews of the US figures already on KZbin and it would be pointless to review them.

Wow nice to see that you've got your hand on an KaiserGreymon! But since, most people who have both Hyper Evolved Digimon, thus Susanoomon, consider to be their 'holy grail' of their Digimon collection, MagnaGarurumon is going to be a bitch to get (pardon the expression). acquiring the originals might as well be impossible unless you got a lot of money if the entries online I'm looking at are accurate, easily over 1000 USD if you want both this and Magnagarurumon, however something I found online is an entry on Ebay where some company is making replica's of both and selling them though it's only a pre order now and it is only 450 USD roughly... I won't say to grab that one since I am not aware of the quality of it so it could easily not be a good idea over tracking down the originals however if you're willing to do some research then you can see if that is a worthwhile purchase

Yup. It was never released in the US and had a limited release in the other countries. The best advice that I can give is to keep checking out auction sites, be vigilant and be prepared to spend 400-600 USD in order to acquire both KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon.

Okay this always bugged me, but why would fire, ice, wind, earth, and wood go together? Ice and wind I get considering Zoe and Tommy (I'm using their English names because that's what I grew up with) have a strong connection with Takuya as well as the fact the wind can help fire become stronger and ice is near opposite to fire. But why earth and wood? Don't trees get their energy from the sun's "light" and trees grow from the earth. Just saying metal and water would have made more sense.
