Kitna IL-6 is high to give Tocilizumab injection..? like my father's IL-6 is now 17.7 CRP 14 HRCT 18 FERRITIN- 660

17.7 is not high to give it now. but certainly we need to keep a close eye with daily IL-6 levels, and if its in raising trend then yes your dad should get one dose ASAP.

My brothers age is 44 , he was infected with corona virus in April and later.. he diagnosed with Fibrosis or Phemonia, with HR-Ct value of 9, at the time of discharge. Now his reports values are D-DIMER... 0.6 CRP ..... 1 CBC... normal except this ( hemoglobin 12.6 , Hemotocrit 38.6 ) Echo report is also normal.. Today doctor prescribed him 1 anti cougulant.. Apixaben 2.5 mg tablet twice a day. Is there anything else that we need to start or need to check.. to verify in order to identify the reson behind high D-DIMER? And Any other medication you can suggest?

Can I know the indication/Reason given to you for Apixaban? Raised D Dimers is not an indication. most common reasons are Irregular Heart Rhythm and Blood Clot (anywhere in body).

@@DrSalmanAslam hi Thanks for reply yes, after recovering, on his 18th day. .. he felt some discomfort in heart , like heart attack kind.. then he took hospital admission. He got discharge from there in 3days that time also his D-DIMER was 6.3. After this , mostly his BP stays .. sometimes up 85/135 and most of the time low.. 47/89 one reading i remember. Pulse was also not regular mostly high. Now his BP is fine.. but he always has that discomfort thing. And he feels tingling pain sometimes from elbow to small finger, before that had headaches on 1 point.. he took 2 day ecosprin 75mg 2 days... checked again D-DIMER and some the above test. .. rest all are normal.. except D-DIMER. Any other test that u can suggest to check clots..and suggestions? And if he is taking Epixaben.. how many days is fine as he didn't have any other issue, or there is any rule to stop. Means Taper?

bevacizumab per bohat limited studies howe hain, eik italian study hai or eik chinese, dono hu last year publish howe thee, result acha tha lakin bohat choti study the, is k opposite tocilizumab ki studies ka result bohat acha tha, is liye europe/uk/usa mai tocilizumab hi use howa....mera bevacizumab ka bilkul b experience nhe...so cant say anything

This is an immunosuppressant drug . Which means it will suppress your immune system. and due do this it will increase the chances of bacterial infection, but chances are very low if its given on the right time. And Its effect doesn't last very long.

Is injection ko IL6 level check kiye bina mut lagwao. Tellme his LDH, Ferritin levels. Is on dexamethasone? Keep him on BIPAP. Was he a smoker? If yes, tu yah saturation theek hai. 11 days ho gaye hain. If he is not getting worse tu wo theek ho jayain gy.

@@meghrajgautam1891 It depends on IL6, LDH and Ferritin levels. But if his oxygen requirements are reducing, and he can maintain saturation above 94 percent within only 2 ltrs then, he is coming out of it.
