@ninicurlz41099 жыл бұрын
One of the many reasons I can't with funerals. I mean people do mourn in different ways but there always seems to be that one (and sometimes it's someone that isn't even that close with the deceased or the family) that just wants use it as an excuse to act up and do the absolute most.
@joshuamcdowell57829 жыл бұрын
NiNi Curlz There is always that one person at every funeral who hasn’t spoken to or visit the person who died in years, acting the biggest fool. They are the one jumping into the casket, knocking over the flowers, sobbing all over people just doing the most.

I use to feel like this about old people being rude until i got a lill older and really thought about it. They have lived a long life and experienced the harshest things life throw at us several times at that. They have paid their dues and earned the right to not give a damn and be selfish. They have spent over 50 years getting paid trash, dealing with horrible bosses and customers, robbed by banks, couldn't even retire cause the a system doesn't want to pay them what they are owed, lost parents, spouses and even children, not cared for or thought about by children and grandchildren, friends are dead or senile, cant or are barely getting ssi which they paid a fortune into, horrible medical care, lonely, sick and the list goes on. Of course They are hardened by life and we should cut them some slack. We will be their age one day and can only hope it's better for us or that we can still find joy in life. Most of them are depressed, sad, angry, feel abandoned and done wrong and just waiting for it to all be over cause they feel they have nothing to keep living for, a lot are full of regret etc. We as children, a society and government should take better care of our elderly instead we over look them, are mean to them and allow people to take advantage of them and don't see their value.

firebaby7 I agree, it's called Hawthorne effect.
@suivana89 жыл бұрын
osimeon00 Why doesn't lighting work there?
@wimbletone9 жыл бұрын
osimeon00 Why not? Your eyes have photoreceptors that when stimulated by light, sends a signal to the brain which will either tell the brain to be alert or to calm down the body by either releasing or inhibiting release of certain chemicals. Blue lights or lights that imitate day light or sky light prompts the brain to be active. It helps stimulate production of cortisol for example so you feel less sleepy and more alert. Dim lights like yellow lights which imitate the color of sunset sends a signal to the brain that it is going nighttime which increase production of melatonin, a hormone that makes the brain fall asleep. This is why office spaces often use white light to increase alertness and productivity. And this is why watching tv or using your cellphone is not recommended before sleeping esp for insomniacs because it emits blue light which is a wavelength that inhibits melatonin so you have a hard time sleeping. Moreover, our bodies have genetically evolved to be dependent on light as a means to survive so it does matter. Light creates chemical reaction in our brain and body, thus it is very important in work productivity. Like it or not, it is the same reason why extremely snowy countries suffer from depression aka SAD or seasonal affective disorder because countries that recieve less sunlight makes the brain produce less happy hormones like endorphins which stimulate good mood and regulate emotions. Why do you think people tell you to get some sunlight aside from tanning? It's because sun light helps increase secretion of happy hormones. So again, lightning biologically matters.

The funniest places people always act a fool are at weddings and funerals. At weddings, either the mom, aunt or grandma got attitude and just ACTS. A. FOOL. At funerals, that one woman just BUSTS out hysterically bawling, flailing around, screaming "JESUS!" and "LORD, HAVE MERCY!" I'm sorry, this may sound rude, but I went to the funeral of a relative of which I had NO idea who they were and this woman did just that; screamed for Jesus to have mercy, flailed around, swung her arms everywhere and acted like the Holy Ghost took over her body and I was in the back...DYING OF LAUGHTER. I could NOT hold it. She just MADE. MY. LIFE.
