This author is amazingly talented! I've listened to a lot of books, all have been captivating, interesting, some containing wickedly humours content that make you laugh so heartedly, it brings tears to your eyes and cramps to yr tummy and ribs. I am so loving this book! For some reason I keep picturing Rick looking like Brad Pitt (maybe it’s the beautiful smile & crystal blue eyes?). You are such a gifted, talented author. BRAVA!! (Would LOVE to see a series about senior widows/widowers navigating falling in love and getting married after losing their spouses in their 60s or later. There are many of us out here!)

Who knew utube did audio books! WOW! Was going on a 3 hour round trip so thought let’s give it a go. Pleasantly surprised that the advertising was minimal and at the end of each chapter. Also found myself lol literally ! What a fun book to Listen to during a tedious journey. The narrator was brilliant too On the way got stuck in traffic and I was actually glad so I could hear the end of the book!! 😂😂😂 sad I know 🫣

I am so happy to listen to good books that are actually narrated by a living person not that AI crap. Even came back to listen again just wish other authors would learn they might have good books but using AI pretty much ruins them so you can't finish.

I love human narrators. I also understand why authors sometimes choose AI. Indie authors have to pay for the narrators themselves, and it can be $900 to $3,000+ which is sometimes never recouped after sales. But authors want all people to be able to enjoy their stories, and audiobooks allow for more readers. I've been lucky, I've been able to afford to pay a lot of narrators, but some of my stories I've chosen to use AI because it's so expensive to get produced by a narrator.

I don't understand how being married for one year would improve Rick's image. A party-boy suddenly having a quick marriage looks suspicious, and then divorcing a woman with a child so soon (the plan) would make him look even worse... ... and wouldn't Tara lose child support from Bobby, or would Rick now be forced to pay alimony forever? So, the premise was hard to swallow since it didn't make sense that a publicist/agent would so over-react just to skinny-dipping (in fact that would usually be good publicity in Hollywood). Rick getting engaged just a few days later means he had been behaving badly while already in a relationship (which wouldn't look good from the srart)... and how does taking him off the market make him a better actor or give more star-power for casting... usually it's just the opposite... if directors didn't want him because he's a playboy, they'll want him even less after he splits (solidifying the image he was trying to dispell). Nobody recognized Rick or Bobby in the children's museum? I'm only partly through, so maybe these items will be explained later in the book, and thanks for making these audios available. :) Oh, funny that Tara wouldn't waste chicken dropped on the floor, but then still ended up throwing it in the trash (instead of composting) just for over-salting. In the previous book, it had also bothered me that Sidney threw away perfectly good items (like Blake's game of Monopoly) instead of at least donating.

Hmm, I'll go see if I did something wrong when I compiled the files in Premiere Pro. They were recorded by the narrators, so I don't know what equiptment they used, but they have to pass Audible's standards, so the recording should be okay. Maybe I did something goofy. I'm not super tech savvy. I'll see what I can do. Make sure the volume on KZbin was turned up all the way, because there's the KZbin volume, and then the volume on your device as well. :)

I agree also. The speaker I have can't increase the volume either. I use it while I do my housework and have to keep it close just to hear it. I must tell you I've enjoyed every book. While I was in bed at the hospital I burst out laughing many times, it made my day.
