आज प्रयागराज महाकुंभ का दूसरा अमृत स्नान है. आज मौनी अमावस्या के मौके पर महाकुंभ में 10 करोड़ से ज्यादा श्रद्धालुओं के स्नान करने का अनुमान है. लेकिन उससे पहले प्रयागराज में संगम तट पर भगदड़ मची है, जिसमें कई श्रद्धालुओं के घायल होने की खबर है. घायलों को महाकुंभ नगर के केंद्रीय अस्पताल और प्रयागराज के एसआरएन अस्पताल ले जाया गया है. प्रशासन के मुताबिक मेला क्षेत्र मे कुछ महिलाओ के दम घुटने की वजह से धक्का मुक्की हुई, जिसके बाद एक के ऊपर एक महिलाएं और पुरुष गिरे.

But before that, there has been a stampede on the banks of Sangam in Prayagraj, in which many devotees are reported to be injured. The injured have been taken to the Central Hospital of Mahakumbh Nagar and SRN Hospital of Prayagraj. According to the administration, there was a jostling in the fair area due to some women suffocating, after which women and men fell on each other.
