Action Packed Fishing with THE REEL DEAL SWIMBAITS !!

In this fishing video I’m fishing Pickwick Lake at Wilson Dam on the Tennessee River. Pickwick Lake is a destination lake where fisherman from across the country go to fish because of its world class smallmouth bass fishing.
The fishing bait and fishing technique I’m using is a simple and great way to catch fish for dinner or just for fun.

Rocky....your in good hand with Ronnie but please be careful making that run from the bridge to the damn. It is very dangerous up by the damn. Huge rocks just below the water and if you are not familiar make that run you will have a bad day. It even more trickery at night. That are you are fishing is killer at night throwing short armed spinner baits and hand tied hair jigs. I have caught many smallmouth over 5 pounds near the area you are fishing. If I had to guess Ronnie has fished pickwick over the years then you and he knows the runs. Please be careful in that area. Very, very dangerous.

Hardy over a mile or so from McFarland ramp to the dam. But there is a ramp real close to the dam

I like to use a 4000 series of reel on a med- heavy rod fast action 7-7.5 foot in length to deal with strippers and catfish most of the time.

If you would use a drop shot weight it would pull loose & not break your line, unless the hook got hung. Great video.
