Ref swimming with barracuda, yep it's safe as long as you're not wearing anything that glints eg jewellery or a s/s watch. It's thought that they mistake the glint for a fish. Well, that's what I was led to believe.

Just wondering if you’re enjoying your lifestyle more in the Caribbean than in the Med?

That's such a good question! It's really hard to compare to be honest - the Med feels like a cultural and historical tour with its quaint ancient ports and little fishing villages whereas the Caribbean is more about the abundant nature and incredible water scene (at least for us so far), so they've delivered different things! Also the wind is really predictable in the Caribbean and random as hell in the Med - both have their advantages/disadvantages at different times!
