I used to drive oversize frames 3.1m up to 3.45m, no pilot and up to 5m height (oversize) in a Volvo and Iveco, and the hardest part with those trucks was trying to figure out what dress to wear???? Aussie truckers will understand and giggle on that one..... I remember the road trains would always stop to help if you get bogged or have issues...... salt of the earth those blokes, they would even stop to help a Kiwi.... cheers boyz

I wonder why they dont improve the roads. Make some water sinks or so. Put Gravel on them. Use Trucks with mud tyres for the offroad sections. Guess they love the adventure.

The soil looks sandy or clay I saw this in west africa, during rain it forms gummy clay & very difficult for trailer to move. Atleast 4*4 cannot even work in uneven roads.

110 tons of weight truck can only drive 10 kilometers driver Cameron Smith stranded for a week with out food & money maybe not Australian truck drivers are very brave he was stranded because of the powerlines .
