On mine there was two connection points for the legs. The first was a loose connection as you initially plug it in, and is what you think is all there is. The second was a deeper plug in point that meant I had to push it in further than I expected. After I plugged it in to that deeper point, the figure became a true posable action figure for me.

Had the same issue on the leg with my first one. Just kept popping off. In addition, the black plastic on the one hand was rugged, felt like some chemical stain that caused damaged surface. And that red plane on the chest kept popping off. Good thing my seller replaced the whole figure with a new one. A solid one indeed and no more issues. Been very happy and try different poses on it ever since 😊

I honestly thought this was going to be a piece of crap when you were going through the parts but the swerve ending with the QC reversal was absolutely spectacular. Best of luck with the new hip! Take in this figure to show them what you don't want to make sure you don't get a rubbish one.

And unlike the soul of chogokin, the forearm cars can actually turn SIDEWAYS in relation to the hands and aren’t permanently stuck in that weird forward facing position. With all the articulation of the soul of chogokin, I don’t know why they did that?!? Seems like such an easy thing to do. Very strange decision. Anyway, this is a really cool piece. Wish it was bigger!

Thanks for this review, as I was considering whether I should get this or not to complement my Super Minipla Lion Force Voltron. I won't lie, after your review, I have some reservations, but I'll keep thinking about it. I hope the surgery goes well and that you're healthy enough to lay all that Dairugger content on us sooner rather than later.

I had the same problems but I fixed with the advices in the video and believe me after that it's one of my favorites figure

Must be a random QC issue. The leg parts on mine are pretty solid and never come unclipped when I bend the knees. And the knees are fairly tight on mine, too.

If there were a Care Bear version of JoshB, it’d be called “Salty Bear.” LOL! Loved the post-credit rants. I have the same issues with my red submarine upper thigh connection … just can’t get it to “click” into place. Overall, I love the figure. Can’t wait to take some pictures. I hope the hip surgery goes well. Speedy recovery and may all your future Dairugger XVs spark much joy!

Yeah, for me, I don't know why it worked, but when I unscrewed that hip, pushed it in, then re-assembled it, it now works. It's been fine since then, comes out and pops back in no problem. I wonder if there's a bit of flash in there that needs to be worn down? Dunno. There's a post about it on Action Toys facebook page.

@@CollectionDX Most of the other reviews I’ve seen have been from Asia and they don’t seem to have the joint connection problem. Yours is the third Occidental review I’ve seen and each one has been plagued by the loose thigh connector.

it looks great. great review. The plastic build... seems a little scary. I was nervous for you when assemblingm I was about plastic stress or snapping off. Sorry to hear about your hip. I hope surgery goes smooth.

Aside from the fins on the red jet, it's pretty sturdy. There's some different plastic in the hips that's more durable. So while it seems light, it's pretty rigid and sturdy.

I received this from BBTS last week. Everything was fine until i noticed his left arm kept falling off when i would try to move it. So after contacting BBTS and sending them a video they did an exchange. Waiting to receive replacement. Hoping i have no issues with the new one.

@@CollectionDX thanks! Also when I had the original figure I noticed that if you push the connection points in firmly you will hear a click confirming that it's locked in place. Maybe if you push the leg in with a bit more force it will go in far enough to click in place?

I got this on Saturday morning and theew it in the garbage on Saturday afternoon. This figure would not stay together. Very frustrating and a waste of money. This could have been great.
