A documentary of this gentleman was recommended to me a few months ago and his style was so captivating I had to watch. Flash forward to today and my favorite rapper is standing in his studio. The universe is chaotic yet organized all in the same breath. Fuck That's Tremendous!

“I only remember images, not names.” I always love when Bronson talks about ADHD antics because of how relatable it is.

I was today years old when I found out I might have ADHD…
@AKAK-rh7lr4 ай бұрын
@@corey31 Certain traits don’t dictate whether you have it or not as it varies heavily, but typically people with ADHD share the value stated. If you’ve ever consumed coke/❄️ and it makes you relaxed as opposed to energetic, that indicates you have ADHD. Emotion hypersensitivity, depression, not being able to do simple tasks regardless if your brain is thinking about it many times a day, hitting stuff a lot as you’re dodging things last minute, interrupting people when they talk/not being able to wait your turn to talk, nearly impossible to do anything unpleasant or strenuous without medication, poor short term memory (able to remember certain days and such in detail though), speaking without knowing where it’ll end, not being able to comprehend doing anything before an appointment you have set, eating is typically in absence or overeating, inability to relax and rest, and even sensitivity to external stimuli such as loud sounds which is often overlooked as it's more associated with autism, but I’m not a psychologist and you should see an expert if you do have a genuine suspicion. I’ll close it up with a story I saw the other day which I think perfectly encapsulates ADHD. “Someone left a cough drop on my dashboard of my car. The other day I saw the cough drop and thought I’ll have to throw it away. When I arrived at my first stop, I forgot to take the cough drop to a trash can. When I got back into the car, I saw it and thought I’ll throw it away at the next gas station. The gas station came and went and I hadn’t thrown it away. Well, the whole day went like that and the cough drop is still on my dashboard. When I got home, I thought I’ll take it inside and throw it out. In the time it took me to open the car door, I forgot about the cough drop. It was there to greet me when I got into my car the next day, and a friend was with me. I looked at the cough drop and burst into tears. My friend asked why I was crying and I told them because of the cough drop. My friend thought I was losing my mind. I said “you don’t understand my whole life is like that”. I see something I mean to do and then don’t do it. It’s not just trivial things like the cough drop; it’s the big things too.”

I love building my creativity through educating myself. Sometimes that's school, other times it's watching people build. In the end I guess I use it all to express myself through different forms of art such as animation, writing, music & anything else that creates fun safe spaces.

Coulter Jacobs is the realest living artist on the planet. Kind, wise, and a serious inspiration. We used to have studios in the same building and I was lucky enough to acquire one of his big works, which I'll cherish forever. Huge congrats to both of you for connecting. This is a killer combo

Love this. I grew up in the 70’s & 80’s nyc graffiti scene then went into graphic design for the ad agencies. I regret wasting many years at the ad agencies having to create on demand what corporate executives wanted but it paid the bills. A studio like that is just straight creative happiness. Great video 👍

This was dope. I recently discovered coulter Jacob’s and his work was so inspiring and interesting and I don’t even draw anything like his style, but art is art. I never knew you were a painter either and that was inspiring for me to see as someone who draws but wants to shift to painting.

I felt it when he said he was a depressive person and uses art as an escape. Most the time that’s what it is and people don’t understand it because they don’t feel what artists feel they just look and judge without understanding the bigger picture. I’m one of those depressive artists

I like that, once you've done ur fair share of psychedelics, u can tell when somebody else has as well, if u get to know them a bit - especially seeing their art and/or get them talking about their world-view. It's like our own little secret community that we don't even have to verbally acknowledge; u just know they're a part of it if they are
