He has to physically touch the thing he wants to dismantle with his hand (or get dangerously close to it) and he needs to think or say the phrase "dismantle." Relying on this ability without any other offensive or defensive capabilities means that any ranged enemies or simply a large group of enemies would counter that. Also, just deleting things is very suspicious to most people. If I was a knight or something in this isekai world and I saw a person touch and then promptly disintegrate an individual I would think witchcraft or demonic spells.

It's a real gamble. Either they are indeed weaker than you are and you can make demands, refuse, or outright slaughter them. Or they might have some kind of magic to enforce you, entangle you or simply kill you. I doubt that a place that gathers all the higher-ups doesn't have any powerful mages on the scene, they will probably just trap or entangle you in some way. Given that you are just level 1 after all and probably don't even know what your powers do, nor how to use them properly. And in this world, summoning people seems to be an easy feat. Plus, they've just summoned a whole classroom of people, what's the problem with killing off 1?

Well the main reason for god of this world to bring ppl from another world was because he didn't longer want to serve the role and since he couldnt kill himself he was summoning ppl in hope that someone would kill him and take his place. Tbf his dismantle ability isnt allmighty. He needed a direct touch, a chant and a certain amount of time for it to activate. It has a lot of condition to use. Learning other skills to fill the weakness of the skill is really the best choice. You really dont have to dismantle everyone you fight though hahaha youre like a demonic maniac at that point using the skill everytime you had thr chance.

So not only does the MC conveniently never use his insta-kill ability in dismantle, but Kanna single handedly prolongs the plot by stopping the MC from killing any and every major antagonist. Seriously, she herself stated that the ancient human was the person who caused the MC all his suffering and is his revenge target but for some stupid indestructible reason makes sure he can't go through with the kill.

Would you try to save your fellow country citizen or tryna to find some form of an embassy for people that was kidnapped in another world?
