Active 2.0, Active 2.3, 50-foot hose. Cox hose reel PROBLEMS and the Fix!

very glad I came across this video. I returned my Active 50' hose and went with the Adam's Polish 60' for this exact reason. And my Cox reel is only 50 foot so there is even less width to fit the fittings. I ordered a 90 degree elbow anyway because I don't know how any hose would fit that Cox reel. Anyway ... thanks!

I emailed support for the same exact reasons you had. Wont fit MTM plugs and non removable QC ends. Really a shame. I was able to make MTM to work by cleaning the O ring seat in the active QC it was filled with glue and making the O ring sit proud.

Yes! It’s really a shame they didn’t make it compatible.
