Promoting a Positive Climate and Using Active Supervision
The school board that you serve is mandated to establish a positive school climate for students. As the school bus is part of the school environment, here is the way to achieve it.
Another way of establishing a positive school environment for each individual student is to teach them how to behave properly on the school bus.
It is not realistic to expect the students to behave well without first telling them the expectations while waiting for the school bus, getting on the bus, while the vehicle is in motion and while exiting the bus. We have to teach them the expected behaviors and make sure that they fully understand the rules.

in spite of a few production glitches such as not wearing the seatbelt as other viewers have pointed out, and not coming to a full stop at one of the intersections, this is an excellent video in highlighting the best method of dealing with student behaviour and working as a TEAM for the truly safe environment.

Always document any problems you have on the bus. Later you may need that info if parents or if the problem is bad enough you have to appear in court these days anything is possible.

Great training, However Most part Drivers are alone now students arent Allowed to monitor kids as this video had 2 kids in vests. At least Alabama in 2024 doesnt allow. Face it Most Part,,,,, Dont wreck Bus, Get kids From a to b,,,,,, An give Drivers a Big Raise$$$$$, .
