This was the most impressive surface-based squall line I have ever seen in the UK. Utterly bewildering that it occurred in October, as we only really tend to get lightning this frequently in elevated summer storms (though some of us in the south were lucky to get some fierce elevated storms in September, too). :)

Great video of some really decent storms, especially for mid autumn. I could see lightning 80 miles away, living in South Yorkshire.

Brilliant iceman in warwickshire we seemed to br on the edge of this storm. Only had a few flashes of lightning and some rumbles.
