Thank you for this a clip guys. I got my pistol license (CPL in Michigan) because we had a shootout with a police in our apartment complex. Some guy who robbed a store at a AR-15 taking pot shots at the cops chasing him. 300 ft from the window where my children sleep. It motivated me heavily to be armed when I had both of my children and wife behind me with a baseball bat in my hallway hoping the guy didn't choose to come into our apartment. I'm a reformed felon, and a pacifist for over 15 years. I Lament the idea of having to carry a gun, was a possibility that someone would force me to have to shoot them. I get nervous even thinking about it. But what makes me more nervous is not being able to defend the life so the people I love my children and wife. Neither of my children who can fend for themselves, and my wife who is petrified of guns. This channel is helped me mentally emotionally prepared as well as understand the importance of training.

Glad to help! I say I am a lover, not a fighter. But because I don’t always get to make that choice, I am hell in a fight.

I'm honestly scared to death of helping out a 3rd party. Like if you see some guy on top of another guy punching him in the face, how do you know the guy on top is the aggressor? How do you know the top guy isn't actually the innocent self defender who just gained the advantage in the fight?

Yeah if you don’t know who is who, it gets real dangerous to intervene.

@@ASPextra do you think that's the time to start yelling commands to get off the guy, ETC or just stay the hell out?

If you don't know who is who, stay out unless you can see a clear problem like someone killing someone who is not a threat.

Same considerations apply as stated in the video. Personally I wouldn’t even consider getting involved with anything I am not 100% certain is clear. Example, deadly force against babies or little kids or against random people _en masse_ (trying to use language to avoid censors). That’s just to CONSIDER getting into it. A lot can go very wrong in 3rd party defense (including other good guys taking you out because they mistook you for the bad guy). A couple questions that only you can answer: Can I sleep ok if I didn’t get involved? Can my family/friends sleep ok, if I don’t survive? Will they wish I stayed out of it?

You explain this in the best way. I seldom see or hear anyone explain the impact after the fight.
