In my opinion, that isn't the reason Cod's down bad and been getting worse. It's the greed, and crappy, manipulated matchmaking and in game manipulation, and everything that comes with it (connection, hit reg, packet burst, lag, etc). They made a new game from scratch every year in the past and Cod was always good. Sometimes better. Sometimes a little worse. But never as bad as the worsening past 5 years.

Just because they all use the same engine should not mean every game is going to feel the same, thats not how it works. For example we have so many games released with the use unreal engine 4/5 in the game industry and u can often never tell that they all have used the same engine. We just need a bo2 remaster with consistent updates and support. No cosmetics/in game currency, no manipulative matchmaking and gunfights. No lobby disbanding, no ai slop replacing jobs and art, proper anti-cheat, no tac sprint, no doors, 3 lane medium-large maps. Just a raw cod, the amount of people that would come back to the franchise would be insane. I just don't get why Activision can't at least recognise this simple concept. I know it's never going to happen but it's nice to dream about😂
