HOW DIMASH CAME TO BE DIMASH by yours truly, Erik. Written in a moment of Dimash inspired, contemplation - contemplative reverie, which I am sure you share with me, Cedric! AND THEN, the fateful day arrived when Dimash asked God. "Father, may I please go down to earth for a lifetime and sing for the people there?" God frowned, looked dismayed and sternly said - with dark clouds, thunder and lighting ominously flashing in the background: "You mean, instead of singing for me every morning, night and day, that I will have to do without you, be deprived, made bereft? And, what about the Celestial Angels? Who's going to teach them how to sing if you aren't here? Do you realize? How much you are asking of me - to give up?" Dimash smiled and said. "Father, you always did have a wonderful sense of humor and knew how to make me smile but, you are too kind, and I unworthy of such high praise yet needless to say, honored and grateful, but in terms of eternity one lifetime away from You won't seem like that much and don't think I won't miss You too. But, this is important to me. The world's going through a hard time now and maybe I can help with my singing to lighten, lift things and people up a bit. Besides, you can always listen in whenever you wish, as we both know." God replied: "OH, OK! Have things your way, but don't think for a second I'm going to like it!" God said smiling.

May I just say that OMG you have beautiful eyes and such a nice smile. I just discovered Dimash about a month ago. He is AMAZING! I love your reactions; your interpretations and discussion of his voice and ability, the video production qualities, and all your content are awesome. Very thoughtful and thorough and I can appreciate the videos more after watching your reactions. Well done! And though I'm 65 years old, I too am in love with Dimash, lol. It would be a dream come true to see him live! He's very pleasant to look at, he sings with such emotion, and it just sucks you in. You're fairly pleasant to look at as well! On to the next video!!

THANK YOU. THANK YOU!!!🙏🙏🙏👌👌👌💗💗 ENJOYED this thoroughly!! As always, your commentary makes it so much Better!!👌👌👌👌 Dimash has talked about being in films before (has been in a few...no major roles) and always insists that he's No Actor and wouldn't know how...he'd be embarrassed....which always makes me smile.😄🥰 I think he IS one already....he has the Instinct built into his DNA. He has ALEAYS been able to convey emotion with his eyes, face, hands, body ...without singing a single note. I'm Convinced this will be the next major move for him. He's NEVER satisfied...always searching, tweaking, adding, creating New things....there's only so much more he can do with singing; it's Perfection already. Thanks Cedric!!👍👍👍💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏

I think the only person who can sing better is himself. in my opinion this boy is the best voice in the world! he can sing every note perfectly. octaves are not a problem for him. He can turn any song into a masterpiece. I'm a huge fan, my dream is to hear this voice live ♥ ️ great reaction Cedric ♥ ️ love to hear what you have to say. Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱

I love how much you also love our angel Dimash. I feel so privileged and blessed to have him "in" my life every day. I never liked opera, because of the high pitched female voices that irritated my ears, but I've been listening non-stop to Dimash for 18 months now without tiring. His voice truly is angelic! Love from a South African Dear.

Igor Krutoy, world renowned Russian pianist, composer, singer, producer, comedic actor. Probably the wealthiest musician in the world, worth $13 billion in 2013. Came out of retirement to work with Dimash after he heard Dimash sing Sinful Passion. Igor composed this song as well as several others for Dimash. He also did a lot of work with Lara Fabian. Also rearranged some songs he composed for Lara to fit Dimash. If you haven’t heard her, check out Je Suis Malade. You’ll be blown away, just like Dimash. She and Dimash have done a few songs together. My favorite is Ti Amo Cosi, a trio with Aida Garifullina for Igor’s birthday celebration at Moscow Ice Palace. You’ll hear Dimash’s incredibly rich operatic baritone voice. Glorious, but he does hold back some when singing with the ladies. As always, thank you for your reaction.

If you had watched all of his performances on "The Singer 2017", you would have seen that Dimash had a habit of going to his knees. Beginning with The Show Must Go On, Adagio, Daybreak, and Cnfessa/ Diva Dance performances. Also, in his digital performance of SOS. I believe he is not showing off, it is just his style. You missed a lot of wonderful performances of Dimash during his time on The Singer 2017. It would have been a great way to have seen the progression in his singing from then until now. On that show, he was only 22, and the youngest and the first foreigner to have been invited to participate. Actually, they did not expect him to make it past the first two performances. The other singers were professionals with established careers and 12-39 yrs. his senior. Ne took second place only because they could not allow a young, less experienced singer to win over their beloved professionals. So no, he's not showing off, it's just his style.

Always appreciate your perspective while watching and all of us Dears know that we can watch the videos uninterrupted on Dimash’s channel anytime, so we are appreciating the value you add by watching your reaction.

Oh my goodness. I love your enthusiastic reaction, the pure joy you feel from his whole performance. I feel so similar. He just takes me in completely, I love everything you say. I so wish you were in my world, can I adopt you, (I would love to adopt Dimash but there is not even a sliver of a chance he would ever read so much as a text from me, so I have more of a chance with you 🤪). NO ONE in my world will be dimashified. 😱😩😖. I have no one to enthuse and rave about Dimash with. I read a comment which I will slightly adapt to Australian’s “if you have been brought up on margarine your whole life, you will not like butter, when you are given it. You are not capable of appreciating the real thing”. Well, all the Australians around me were brought up on radio pop and are not capable of appreciating perfection when they hear it. They just say, yeah he is good but….. not my kind of music, will not even listen to another song to see he can do ANY kind of music. I had no knowledge of vocal technique and don’t like opera at all (unless sung by Linda Rondstat in Pirates of Penzance) but I only heard one verse of sos to fall completely under his spell and know I was listening to perfection. If metal heads and heavy rockers and rappers can love Dimash, why can’t the musically deaf people around me. I have listened and watched (much prefer to watch) him for hours a day in the few months since I discovered him. No interest in tv or movies or other performers, just Dimash, who I listen to on headphones while my husband has the radio on. (With commercials that make you want to scream). I sing along very badly with Dimash with headphones on, at the top of my voice but he would prefer to hear that than listen to Dimash. Is he insane?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO THE "ETHERIAL" PART AGAIN!!!! EXACTLY MY WORD TOO! Love the depth and detail of your Director/singer analysis so insightful!!! GOD ALMIGHTY - I KNOW HE WORKED REALLY REALLY HARD, SMART AND FOR A LONG LONG TIME TO DEVELOP THIS, BUT DAMN IT IS STILL OUT OF THIS GALAXY!!! By the way there is this GREAT interview with his VOICE teacher on KZbin. He said that at one point he was worried because Dimash was "addicted" to Falsetto singing. The teacher was NOT!!! happy about it as it's not academically acceptable and this was some famous music academy that his Grandmother first brought him to at age 5. Dimash was the youngest student ever accepted at age 5. So the teacher made known to Dimash his concern about his "addiction" to Falsetto singing. The teacher laughs as he tells the story that as he approached school each day he could hear Dimash singing loud and at FULL VOICE in Falsetto in the upstairs of the school "but somehow he (Dimash) could ALWAYS sense my arrival, and Dimash would stop just before I entered the school ...silence!....I have always wanted to ask him how he knew I was coming". And so as I listened to this story I thought THIS IS SOMETHING THAT MOST male TRAINING SINGERS DON'T DO, WHICH IS SPEND A HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME DEVELOPING THEIR FALSETTO AND HEAD VOICE RANGE TO BE AS POWERFUL AND STAMINA STRONG AS THEIR CHEST AND MID RANGES.....FROM A YOUNG AGE!!!.....I BET BECAUSE HE TRAINED IT TO BE SO POWERFUL FROM SUCH A YOUNG AGE for such a LARGE part of his daily training THAT IS IN PART, IN ADDITION TO GENETICS, WHY HE CAN DO ALL THIS AMAZING STUFF.....TRAINING SERIOUSLY SINCE 5....HE HAS A FAMOUS DRAWING THAT HE DID AT 4 OF HIM ON STAGE WITH MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS VERY WELL DRAWN BY THE WAY....HE DREW THIS TO SHOW HIS PARENTS WHAT HE WANTED TO DO WITH HIS LIFE! Also, this video shows Dimash at 13...you can see that talent was there , but he worked hard to polish that diamond to what it is today! on KZbin: DIMASH AS A YOUNG SINGER - Димаш Кудайберген - молодой певец 565 views•Jun 4, 2021

Love your reaction, so much! You are the one I REALLY enjoy watching and experiencing Dimash once again through your eyes. And that's well worth it! Love your comments and how you express precisely what you mean, this is really a joy (I'm not only musical but also a philologist - not in English, so sorry!), so I enjoy people so much who really place value on their words, how they say something... And I love that you take your time with Dimash! That you just relish every minute and every new experience with Dimash so that this enjoyment lasts longer .... Very wise! Love it! Love waiting for your next experience with Dimash!!

Dimash's stage presence and the way he holds himself and his facial expressions all add to the performance and the song, which takes it to a whole new level. I could listen to Dimash sing all day long (and I have done that before ... multiple times). I, personally, would LOVE to see a Dimash and BTS collab!! Am I biased? YES!! 😂 Since Dimash sings in a pop/opera style, I think they could match well. If you react to DImash's song Screaming, I think you'll agree. Add some rap and dancing to Dimash's vocal prowess with the vocal line of BTS singing as well, and BOOM. WORLD DOMINATION!!!!! ARMY's and DEAR's dropping dead left and right as two of the mightiest forces in the world collide in a performance that will make history!!!! At least, that's what I think. 😊💜💜

Swans are known to mate for life. He's singing about two people who are meant to be together but going through difficulties, with one begging the other not to leave. This is one of my favorite songs (because I believe in soulmates) Thanks for this great reaction. You really "get" Dimash and I'm glad.

This was the first song that he collaborated with famous composer Igor Krutoy (the man behind the piano). Cedric, do you remember "Sinful Passion"...go back to that song,... and at the very end of the song , a man in a white shirt stands up and claps...that is Igor Krutoy. That event was at New Wave in Sochi. Igor runs that event and this was Igor's first introduction into Dimash's stage presence. tThat was 2018. A few months later Dimash colabs with Igor (and this event was literally in front of a military crowd at the Kremlin). This song won 2018 song of the year. This was the start of amazing performances with Igor Krutoy. Madame Moiselle Hyde Love Is Like A Dream ( Igor's song written originally for Alla Pugacheva) Ascolte La Voce (originally performed by Lara Fabian) Know ( Ascolte La Voce w/lyrics) Ogni Poetra (original song written specifically for Dimash to sing for European Summer Olympics in Belarus 2019 opening ceremony) Passione Ti Amo Cosi (performed with Lara Fabian and Aida Garrifulina @ Russian icecapades Igor Concert) Your Love (lyrics by Lara Fabian, original song written for Dimash) 2020 Miss You (Original song 2021 ) Igor Krutoy is probably one of the most interesting men of music. Not only is he an accomplished singer and composer, he is a business man...and an Oligarch. Igor's own mother asked Igor to come out of retirement for this young man. (true story). Igor's momma is everything to him. He bought his mother a $7M penthouse in Miami beach... retire happy He bought his wife a home in NJ He, bought a home in the Hamptons for an exorbitant amount, tore it down to build the house he wanted. Being the wealthiest musician in the world has its perks, I guess. His wealth of ($13B)...makes Beyonce, P Diddy and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber look like beginners. Without the Western world knowing who Igor is, Igor quietly is one of the most influential men of music. So, when he took Dimash under his wings,... it propelled him. There are Dimash fans that don't want to admit that...and think Dimash could have done all of this in music without Igor's help... and this may well be true, but there is no denying that Igor was influential in meeting the right people, being on the right tv shows, getting a stadium deal in NY, etc etc etc. This influence bothered some famous Russian singers...to the point it actually created jealousy amongst some musicians who were already in the"Igor camp" ...so to speak [Yeah, Philip Kirkorov...we are looking at you, amongst others] We hope to see many more Igor/Dimash collaborations because they are simply magical.

Thanks so much, Cedric - though I must admit my surprise when discovering you'd reacted to one of Dimash's stage performances of «Love Of Tired Swans», and not the music video? But no matter, I was still so happy to join you for this stunningly beautiful song, that I've loved so much that its lyrics became the first I ever fully learned in Russian! As always, Dimash's vocal and technical skills are matched only by his passion, presence, and emotional connectivity - he really is, the king of storytellers! - but it's at 9:50 where he flips into his soprano-esque "angel" voice, and plays that most *gorgeous* of vibrato duets with the orchestral violins, that leaves me totally captivated and barely able to speak - it's just, glorious! So may I ask, if you would kindly consider *also* checking out the aforementioned music video? Because despite having watched -countless- (more than 3800😳!) reactions to Dimash over the years, you're still able to bring a fresh and new perspective that is as informative and entertaining, as it is unique - and I need more, more, MORE, please? Pretty please? Pretty please with a cherry on the top? Pretty please, with a cherry on the top, whipped cream and sprinkles? Pretty please, with a cherry on the top, whipped cream and sprinkles, chocolate *and* cherry sauce? Pretty please, with a... well, I think you get the picture, lol! And if not this particular track, it would be awesome to hear your thoughts on the backstage version of his «Phantcity» mini-movie for example, or his (very artsy) music video for «Know»? Honestly though, whichever way you decide, I want to thank you again for another great video - sending much love and best wishes your way, from this "over the Pond" Dear - mwah!😘😊💐
