Happy holidays, everyone!!! Decided to tackle the second most-requested video from BTS, the Tiny Desk Concert, as a holiday week surprise. Hope you enjoy watching - I'm trying REALLY HARD to not watch as many live performances as I can because they're *SO GOOD* but I want to react to them! I don't know if I will get another video out before Christmas or even New Years, so if I don't - happy holidays, be safe, stay healthy, and take a moment to breathe and remember that this will get better, and if nothing else, you've got me in your corner rooting for you. May this be a week of joy and hope for you! Thanks for watching. Borahae.

You are so right. RM has such authority and gravity in his voice. It's so powerful but deep, passionate but soothing at the same time. No trace of anger but self-reflection only. He is a poet and deep thinker, went through such hard times recieving slanders and hate, bearing tremendous responsibilities and burdens since young.. I guess thats why his lyrics and voice are always carrying something which never fails to comfort me. (Btw his mixtape "mono" is a materpiece. I will not burden you by requesting a reaction but when you are feeling down pls give it a try. You will never regret encountering such a beautiful mind.)

His voice was so warm , it felt like he is just next you sharing his feelings with you . i seriously never felt sucha close connect with any song. at that time i didn’t even know about him . but then when i checked for the artist name- i found it to be BTS(V) . i heard a lot about bts but was never into it . after knowing that a voice like this exists in BTS . i learnt about bts and became a hardcore fan !

Them performing Spring Day here was SO significant; as popular and iconic as the queen is, they don't often perform it after the You Never Walk Alone era. However! Since the pandemic began, they performed it for Dear Class of 2020 (their speech were inspiring, and the meaning behind their choice of song was just beautiful), it was performed in some of the past concerts that aired as part of BangBangCon, they performed it for BangBangCon The Live, for NPR as here, and most recently at Day 2 of Map of the Soul ON:E. However you interpret the message or whatever event you consider it to refer to, it is ultimately a reminder that things will get better and, as they say in Life Goes On, that spring doesn't know to wait.

Happy holidays! I think you can at least consider yourself baby ARMY at this point bc you did two things that all ARMY tend to do 1) you forgot they were even singing in another language bc it just doesn’t matter since you can feel their message & 2) as soon as anything ends you get that instant “I miss them” depression! Very impressed by the teal/orange observation. Resistance to foreign content is real. Western audiences are so confused by the Asian element, that they have to associate the group with something familiar. BTS gets compared to Michael Jackson, and the Beatles a lot, even though there's almost no similarity. Like comparing Michael Jackson to the Beatles. But it's what everyone is doing in order to justify enjoying music in a different language. You're reactions are insightful, and will open doors for other people to discover the positivity of this group. Thank you.

An insider said that it is rare for groups to truly like each other. And BTS all truly, truly LOVE each other. But they also have so much fun both performing and off stage. When watching performances like this, it truly sticks out and we all just have so much fun with them. Also, agree with you about them easing the audience into their music. 💜 Spring Day is as much about hope as it is about mourning. 💜💜

Indeed, V's voice is like a alto saxophone 🎷, and his style is like 50's-70's, sometimes you watch him like a charactor in Once Upon a time in America. V's voice can last like 40 more years and can still sing like Frank Sinatra. I really like his voice. And Surprisingly, Jin might have a great potential to develop as a operatic type singer. Anyway, thanks for your reaction and I always enjoy watching. Merry Christmas 🎄 and borahae.

If you really wanna get to know them and their personalities and see how close and tight knit they are I really recommend some of their reality shows. Particularly Bon Voyage and In the Soop. Bon Voyage has 4 seasons. Each year they take a trip abroad together and film their adventures. In Bon Voyage hey usually have a limited budget they're supposed to use for things like food and whatnot, and they have to do everything themselves (although they do manage to bend the rules from time to tome by appealing to the staff who loves to make them perform or do challenges in exchange for more money or help with a task or whatever). In the Soop was what they did this year instead since international travel wasn't an option, they take a kind of vacation to a really gorgeous location on a lake and it's just so nice to see them doing whatever they want and enjoying the peace and each other's company. You couldn't react to them here, that'd be a patreon thing, but even if you just watch them for yourself it's worth it. Also Run BTS although that one's more of a variety show, lots of games with prizes for the winners and penalties for the losers. I laugh so much watching Run episodes :)

Also about V, he lost a lot while he was with the band (both his grandparents died within a year of each other, they were the ones who had raised him because his parents were poor. Plus, a friend of his committed suicide). V is fun loving but also very sensitive. The first years, he was often in charge of "growling" in the songs. Thanks to his deep voice he indeed expressed anger perfectly. But his own songs are more sad and nostalgic (scenery, winter bear, Blue and Grey).
@raya65324 жыл бұрын
Just as a side note, V is a baritone, the only Kpop singer classified as that, and he is considered to have the widest vocal range of the group. His solo Singularity on one of the BTS albums contrasts nicely with his high voice on another solo track called Stigma. He played the saxophone for a few years when he was younger and is really into Jazz and R&B. His harmonization with the other members,who are all amazing, is something great to hear. His voice adds texture and another layer to their songs. By the way, as a cinephile who considers movie theaters my second home (until this pandemic) and as a huge BTS fan, you are by far my favorite reaction channel. Can’t wait for you to get back to BTS.
@inuyashalovergyal4 жыл бұрын
we all had the same reaction we wanted more this performance was so good 😭V is an old soul living in a 24 yr old body, his style is just immaculate he can wear clothes from the 70s, 80s, 90s and pull them off so well. V also listens to older style music like jazz since he was young I think that also influences his style of singing combined with his beautiful baritone voice.

YOU DID NOT JUST RICKROLL US! LMAO I know they had a special voice coach for Dynamite, who helped them with their pronunciation, etc. There's always English in their music, but I'm sure it's a whole other challenge to do a whole song. I'm sure they learned it phonetically, although they can all read English, Joon is the only one really fluent. But Suga does read English well, he's just not confident speaking it. They have all improved A LOT over the years, but they're such perfectionists, of course they had a coach for this especially. Your idea about their color scheme is GENIUS. I really love hearing your insights into these things. I never even thought of it like that, but we know that with BigHit and BTS, nothing is random, so you're probably right. Also, I would rob Park Jimin on the street for that shirt. Also Suga's glasses. Although I'm pretty sure they could both kick my butt. LOL I never get sick of this performance. I love when they play with a band, and like you, I love stripped-down versions of songs. It's nice to see you back! Hope you are well! Merry Christmas!

BTS wears literally every single style you could think of. They were wearing 70's inspired retro outfits here cuz Dynamite is a disco-pop song. Almost all Dynamite stages had them wearing something retro. But pretty much each song and performance they do will have its own clothing style to match with it. In their normal day to day lives the 7 of them have very distinctive styles from each other actually haha

10:17 Teal and Orange You might have a point there. According to NPR, they have been trying to get BTS for a couple of years now, but it was finally possible this year. This could be not just because of their music appeal, but because they knew the high engagements ARMY gives to any BTS appearance. On the other hand, we now know that NPR is also a tool artists employ to appeal to Grammy voters because it has long gained its reputation for stripped down performances. A lot of pop artists trying to get nominations then win votes from the R.A members has made sure to perform here. And as you've pointed out plenty of the general public still haven't heard of BTS' music. So the Teal & Orange color of their clothes could have been well planned by the stylists or they were told by the producer of the video himself (logical that he knows this fact since you know it as a film maker too) to lessen the audience and language barrier. We now know that BTS have been seriously campaigning for the G nomination since they started interviews for the Dynamite promotions. We also now know that they're now nominated for Best Pop/Duo performance. And I'm crossing my fingers that they win.

That insight about the color is plausible. But then again, that orange and mustard are retro wardrobe colors (to match their retro reference in dynamite). In fashion design or interior decor, certain colors match well with each other eg black and red, orange and blue/teal, pink and green. Their stylists are really good. I have started to use BTS's colors in my wardrobe and I'm loving it. I am learning so much about theatre and movie production thanks your BTS reactions. Keep going.

How did I not know that this channel existed? I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction. Their Tiny Desk concert is one of the most comforting ones they had for me. Thank you for reacting to them. Much love from Australia 💜

Merry Christmas! I always enjoy your reactions and your commentary. This was a lovely Christmas gift thank you. You said that you hadn't heard them talking to each other much. I have some great links for you then. Every year and sometimes more than that Bighit has the boys get together and eat and answer questions that are given to them as conversation starters. You get to know the relationships and they get a chance to share some deep stuff with each other that they may be wouldn't usually feel comfortable talking about or saying to one another. I remember one of the first times bighit did gave the boys an excuse and opportunity to open up with each other was with all of big hit on the roof where each boy got to stand up on a higher ledge and yell their grievances to big hit or their other members or confess something that was hilarious. Since then it's gone a lot more intimate they've added food and sometimes alcohol or just drinks and instead of grievances they tend to look back at the year how they've changed some of the things they've been thinking and what they've appreciated about each other or hope for each other.You really get to know the guys and their relationships with each other. something you'll notice is they are very close but they also get shy and awkward and nervous around each other too when broaching certain subjects. There are subtitles for all 3 videos. They were btsfesta bangtanattic for 2018,2019,2020. One has the boys drinking so they get a bit tipsy. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWWwlp-ppJyAhrc m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYG6Y4N5hb6te6c m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmrdgaGNhq6cq9k

Funfact, in 2014 (when bts weren't so popular) bangtan visited the families of the Sewol Ferry disaster and prayed with them, comforted them, and donated 100 million KRW. The families were very thankful, however, at that time Bts could've been blacklisted for their actions. Because of this, the families prayed for their future, and years later they became famous. This was recent news that came out on December 11, 2020, when an interviewer was talking with the families that were affected by the Sewol Ferry accident. You can find an article about it, I just made it brief as possible. But it just shows how kind and humble Bts are.

You are officially an Army 😆the saddness that you felt after realizing that they were done is exactly how Army feel every single time, we always want to see more. Anyways, thank you for seeing this performance. I appreciate that you mentioned their outfits, the teal and orange comparison to color in Film and how this might have been intentional to help Americans whom have never seen them before. BTS and BigHit are always working on the aesthetics and quality that accompany a performance and always putting a lot of effort, taking into consideration the viewer . I want to add that it is really appreciated the mention that BTS is the biggest global band👏🏼. Overall I appreciate your openness to them, in a short time you have been able to see how talented they are and that means a lot to Army. Borahae! 💜 Happy Holidays and Happy New Year🍾🎉

Your reactions became such a pure joy to me. Can't wait till the day you watch the MMA 2018/2019 performance :) That said, by any chance, don't feel pressured to meet every need and taste of your fast growing subscribers (including me), or to make a better video. If you do a simple 5 minite reaction we will still looove it. Hope this Christmas is full of joy and blessings to your family💜

Yess, you good sir have been adopted into the fandom! Congratulations you are army! Honestly I started out very much the same 3 months ago, I first got into them on the 17th of September this year. Just finally watching some music videos, getting seduced by Jimin. Then seeing live performances, compilations of them just being them. The reality shows like Run BTS! At this point I've watched hundreds upon hundreds of videos. Bought 8 albums (Map of the Soul: 7, BE, Wings, Love yourself: Her all 4 versions and Love yourself: Answer) Attended the Map of the Soul: One concert. Bought merch. Became part of the Army membership and am currently waiting on my Army Bomb to come in. I live with no regrets :3 Happy holidays you precious human being! ^-^

Your teal and orange observation just might be more right than you think, their stylists are top notch professionals. To me your words were a revelation. And a curse - teasing you! - how often for the rest of my life I'll be watching innocently a thing and suddenly your voice is in my head "teal and orange!"
