With a terminal lung cancer diagnosis, the legendary Australian actor would like one last Arnhem Land supper
David Gulpilil resides at Murray Bridge, South Australia, the Aboriginal acting great is far from his home - about 3,000km - in the Northern Territory.
His career spans nearly 50 years, with accolades spanning the iconic Fingerbone Bill in Storm Boy (1976) and receiving best actor award at the Cannes film festival for his role in Charlie's Country (2013).
Mud crabs in hand, NITV's Ryan Liddle visits the legendary David Gulpilil who shares stories from his incredible life.

I am currently reading Gulpilil by Derek Rielly which is why I am here. I didn't know that David has cancer prior to reading the book. Very sad and I hope some philanthropist puts up the money to send David back to Arnhem Land, or at least the Australian government recognises him as a National Treasure and put up the money for his ticket.
