Had the pleasure of meeting him once when he was asked to do the stage voiceover for a monologue written by one of the students in my 6th grade English class at the Bardavon theater (in Poughkeepsie, NY). The whole class met him for our planned stage performance showcasing various poems/monologues written by individual students in our class. The one he was asked to do was about a boy's tough relationship with his dad. He took on this role with sincere interest and compassion. I found him to be a down to earth and gracious man with the signature voice he's known for. RIP to the accomplished and legendary actor with the iconic voice🙏🏾🕊️. He needs no introduction 🌄.
