Pre patch it took about 300hrs to unlock Darth Vader or Luke or $1200 in star cards if you got lucky with grade 4 cards, and if your playing the hero’s mode if someone else is playing the only hero you’ve unlocked you couldn’t play the game. What’s even worse was the game would match people with those that had a grade or two better cards than them. To basically flaunt in their face pay more money to be better.

In the classic Battlefronts, the heroes were pretty OP in terms of their kill potential. But you can easily overwhelm them with explosives and overwhelming firepower if you can wrangle your teammates and AI well enough to actually accomplish the feat

I am a huge fan of this game, despite its many many flaws. It's a crazy Star Wars shooter and that gives me plenty of entertainment. But as noted there are issues with balancing and being locked out from playing heroes. Also only a few modes remain active anymore. But hey, there's nothing like taking down the Empreror with an Ewok. I'm going to request a Chicago Reacts to Danger 5. The first episode is free on KZbin.

Honestly, if I play a star wars game, and Darth Vader doesn't appear and just mass murder everyone else...I'd be pretty disappointed as a star wars fan. Like, I EXPECT the hero to be OP and the rest all cannon fodder. xD That's what I loved about Fallen Order. DV appeared and there was no fighting him. It was just...run. Run like hell and hope you live another day. xD

29:30 It IS a hero, the resistance heroes are Rey, Finn, Chewwie and BB-8. You've also got BB-9E on the First Order, alongside Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren and Palpatine. I'm lucky and got the game free on my ps4 'cause of ps plus, it's a great game

Original Battle Front 1&2 are so much better, they do have the hero options in the second one, but the first one is only "normal" classes, and it's still a lot of fun just running up to the front lines and going crazy, or hopping into a vehicle with a engineer and rocketing into a fight, even playing the Imperial Walkers in the original Empire Strikes back Hoth battle.

IIRC following a comment I saw, the server back when the footage was made, were pretty barren. There's also a massive cheater influx thanks to invincibility. Really enjoy the Michael/Zach dynamic, would recommend Civvie 11's videos for them, "PRO BLOOD #1" is a great start. I dunno if they're more musically inclined but a personal recommendation would also be "HEISEI KAMEN RIDER OPENING CLIPS" by TOEI TOKUSATSU WORLD OFFICIAL but that's just me. Keep up the good works mate.

Clearly you've never met sweaty bossk players in BF1, they're literally immortal lmao. Bf2 has more balanced heroes, since they have FAR less hp and damage than the ones in BF1. The main difference is in BF1, they couldnt really regen hp unless they were Bossk, Leia, or Palpatine, but it didnt matter since their total HP was easily in the thousands. Overall, definitely think BF2 had better balancing. Enough of my ranting tho lol
