I am one of those people who loves to tear movies apart and I'm also just very passionate about film, and honestly I felt this movie had flaws but.... babe it's kind of a vibe?? I mean, I love a lot that it did. I love Morgan looking and dressing like a normal teenager (rare believe it or not). I loved Amy carrying the entire thing of course. I love that this movie didn't feel like it was trying to top or even match the first, and that was a respectful and smart decision. It wasn't soulless to me, I guess, as most other disney projects have been lately. but that's just my own take.

I’m very glad you enjoyed reacting to this film. While I do agree that original is iconic in its own right, I actually enjoyed the sequel just as much. I do love the themes they focused on especially how true love can found in the memories of the ones you loved. The moment that Giselle professes that Morgan is her true daughter no matter what and that Morgan accepts Giselle as her true mother is tearfully beautiful. I also loved all the musical moments especially Nancy’s song “Love Power”; that is how you showcase an iconic talented voice. If you were wanting more fairytale or fairytale like movies, I highly recommend Penelope, Ella Enchanted, Happily Never After 1-2, Beastly, The School for Good and Evil and A Cinderella Story (Hilary Duff). 👩🏻‍🦰🪄⚡️👸🏻❤️🖤

I truly, truly believe that Amy Adams is overlooked as one of the best live actresses and stage performers alive. Yes, Idina Menzel has an amazing voice. Kristen Chenoweth can make you laugh. It takes a TON of talent to fall back into a role the way she did here, and add a twist of darkness. She is immediately the character she is playing and nobody else. I hope to work with her one day.

Have you seen 'The Emporer's New Groove'? Its a super amazing movie. If you're in the mood for something different, I strongly recommend the Jackie Chan movie 'Robin B Hood.' Basically Jackie and another guy are cat burglars and they get saddled with a baby they have to take care of for 6 months. (I can't say why because spoilers, only they don't really have a choice in the matter)

I really liked this movie. It could have been SUCH a disappointment, It could have gone to saccharine or too dark but didn't. I think it hit the camp sweet spot. I particularly liked that it brought up a very real , real world problem. An adoptive child having to adjust to her bio dad having a bio kid with her stepmom. And sometimes the parents DO mess things up and go overboard for the new kid. I liked that in the end Morgan got to know that Giselle REALLY thinks of her as her daughter and that loving the baby does NOT effect the love for Morgan. Also I liked that while a bit gloomy at the beginning Morgan was NEVER a bad kid nor a bad big sister. They could have gone over the top and have her grown to be a juvenile delinquent but restrained themselves which was wise. All in all a good movie.

Hibi am 21 and I grew up watching this movie and this movie came out when I was 6 and I remember buying it well my mom in shoprite literally where we used to buy movies from the shelves u know. So the actor who plays morgan in this movie isn't the same girl from the first. Although th OG Morgan was at the premiere carpet.

Not really a fan of this one when you compare it to the original,most sequals have that effect sadly. The story was a bit all over the place for me and a bit boring at parts too. I do love the song Badder though that is my favorite song here and the duet between Amy and Maya was so well done. Hearing Alan Tudyk as the voice of the scroll is always fun though cause he always makes me laugh no matter what role he is in. I love the acting in this and Idina as always slays it with her voice. I saw her live on stage on a play called If/Then and it's so much more amazing to hear it that way then through the screen...her voice just blows me away every time. I am glad they found an actress of Morgan who looks a bit like the younger version seeing how it's not the same actress. It has a lot of plot holes that make no sense like why Morgan has magic all of the sudden and how she can use the wand when she isn't connected to Andalassia directly by blood but it's the whole true love is the most powerful magic of all I guess dk it's a bit weird but the last moment becayween Morgan and Giselle when she is dying was heatbraking and sad I will admit. Any way grate reaction.

People might think I hate this film I didn't hate it in actual fact it was brilliant but honestly the 2007 one is more superior than Disenchanted. Maybe it's cause the songs are more memorable,the story wasn't all over the place and it just dragged. Also you can pretty tell what scenes were reshoot e.g. Patrick Dempsey's hair change.
