The fact that the final scenes with Max and Furiosa are so well done despite Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron hating each other is kind of the most amazing thing about this movie. My favorite story from the set was Charlize saying she came back to her trailer one night after filming and Hardy had sent her a picture and signed it saying, basically, "I think you're a nightmare but you're also f*****g awesome. Love, Tommy". That on-set feud between the two of them was legendary!

Despite all the things I could say about the film, I just want to say that I felt like I was in an Iron Maiden video and, considering that the villain had this Norse mythology vibe, I loved how the women in this film are the most badass Valkyries I've ever seen in a film.

Someone once explained the whole "witness me" thing to me. Everything you said about them being in a cult and dying gloriously to get into Valhalla is right, but the difference is that your glorious death has to be witnessed and respected in order to gain entrance to Valhalla.

I saw this on the Thursday sneak screening and you could actually hear and see the audience relax and sigh in relief as each chase sequence ended. It’s up there with A Quiet Place for most unique theatrical experiences I’ve had.

The incredible thing about this film is that it was done almost entirely with practical effects... Which is just mind blowing to think about. Every crash, every explosion, they're done almost entirely with practical effects. The most amazing stunt I thought were the polecat (the guys sitting on top of the cars on a little pole, swinging back and forth) stunts though, which were entirely done with practical effects. Those were actual stuntmen swinging around on some poles, just hanging onto their ass hoping they don't fall off. Which is just an absolute masterwork of cinematograph...

The comic book telling how Immortan Joe became Immortan Joe and took the Citadel is quite epic, as epic as this film is. Film is only as good as its villain... Immortan Joe is really good villain.

I had to write a thing for my biology course on blood types, so for anyone who doesnt know heres a fun bit of info (kinda long): All of our cells have antigens in order to identify foreign antigens and mark these invasive antigens so that they will be disposed of. The two agglutinogens that perform this task are therefore labeled A and B, so a person could have one, both, or neither of these antigens. This is where we get the four categories that most people are familiar with, A, B, AB, and O. Then there’s the other antigens found on your blood cells in the Rhesus, or Rh System, which is a collection of 45 antigens that are all in a single group. Therefore a person would either have all of the antigens, or none of them, making them either Rh Positive or Rh Negative. These differing blood types give us the 8 that exist most commonly among people, as the A, B, AB, O system is paired with the Rh system to categorize each blood type. Making sure to properly identify these differences is what saves the lives of people around the world through blood donations and transfusions. The most important part of identifying these blood types is knowing which antibodies the person has. An example being that a person with AB blood could accept blood from any other A, B, AB, O type, but if they were AB Negative, they should only have blood that is also negative as they can also accept positive blood once in their lives.

Cheedo is more reluctant to break away from Joe because she's the youngest wife, and hence the most naive. Furiosa managed to help them escape before Joe could actually manage to do any damage to her like the other wives.

Heheh the timeline is a little weird, for tribal societies to have formed this quickly, given that Max himself was a cop at the first of the series. But things were clearly already going off the rails during that era so who knows

This is not really the same world. Max didn't have a young child in the first one. (it was basically a newborn) So it's a different version of Mad Max. They kind of all are.

Sorry but I’m only a fan of Mad Max (1979) and the sequel Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior so I’m really not interested in the other films of the franchise being Beyond The Thunderdome, Fury Road, and Furiosa. I have my reasons and I’ll leave it at that. Nuff said! 👍🏻😎

I recommend that u should check out George Miller’s animated films, Happy Feet and Happy Feet 2. The first film won the Academy Award for Animated Feature and the sequel to it isn’t that bad 🐧🩰 Also so happy u watched this, Fury Road is probably one of the best action films ever made 🔥💀
