Roja Ramani is a south Indian actress who has worked in movies during 1970’s. She has also acted as a child artist during 1960’s. Her debut movie was Bhakta Prahlada (1967) where she played a child artist’s role and received National award for best child artist. She acted in all south Indian movies and used screen name Shobana in Malayalam. Among her Malayalam movies, her noted works are Pani theeratha veedu and Chemparathy.
Roja Ramani's most appreciated works were Bhakta Prhlada and Chemparathy (1972). This film was later remade in Tamil as Paruva Kaalam in 1974 with Roja Ramani repeated her role and Kamal Hassan played the male lead. Romantic track, Chakravarthini Ninakku and devotional song ‘Saranamayyappa’ are still popular.

I think, Roja Ramani spoiled her kids (at least her son, Tarun).. making them good for nothing.. jobless.. always she says enjoy life, eat popcorn, coke.. watch every movie.. shopping abroad.. no business plans.. not sensitive.. not responsible towards anything.. koncham lazy ah? chaala lazy.. ice creams.. abroad lo pichi pichi ga tinadam.. love restaurants.. One of the worst, worthless and useless interview (2.5 hrs.. OMG!) In starting of the interview, she said Bhakta Prahlada has Sanskrit songs and poems, that shows she just enjoyed that fame in later age BUT never attempted to learn anything about that great movie after she grew up, because all poems are in Telugu (Potana Bhagavatam is in Telugu).. I generally do not watch interviews of movie field personalities, but watched this by mistake.. a big one!
